We have worked alongside Lighting Design Studios on a number of projects and they have always been reliable and happy to go the extra mile to help resolve designs. We would recommend working with them and would happily work with them again.

We employed the services of The Lighting Design Studio to help us with a holiday home project. Luke came up with some fantastic ideas and the end result looks amazing, we could never have hoped to achieve anything remotely similar by ourselves! I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Used The Lighting Design Studio on my house rebuild and refurb project in South West London. The Lighting Design Studio were asked to provide a complete idea to implementation lighting service and were always available to deal with any queries, issues or changes required as the project involved. Luke and Bruce have been highly personable, approachable and professional throughout the project. I would definitely use them again for any future projects.

We had been planning a big refurbishment for about two years, Everything was ready to go, plans, builders etc etc.. Then someone asked me if I had used a lighting designer. I had never considered the need for this, I just thought a few spotlights here and there would be fine... Purely out of curiosity I had a look on line and phoned a few companies. Most of these were very stuffy established firms who seemed very rigid in their approach. then I spoke to Luke and Bruce who had a very flexible, fresh approach and wanted to come over for a chat and to tell me what they could do. To cut a long story short... WOW.. what can I say. Of all the elements of this big project (big enough that it took eight months), I can honestly say that the single thing I am happiest I did was to speak to these guys. The lighting is absolutely stunning. I had no idea what a huge difference well thought out lighting could make ! I can 100% recommend the lighting Design Studio. Their ideas were great, they were happy to change things around to suit what we wanted, and were very good at getting back to me with every little question I had. Their plans were well presented, and my electricians had no problems whatsoever implementing them. They used light fittings that I had no idea even existed, and that create a great effect. Their pricing is very reasonable too.

Lighting Design Studio provided the design and implementation of the complete lighting system for a four bedroom, 2,500 SQFT home for us. They helped us with wiring schematics, light fitting choices and importantly how many fittings etc would be required in each room. They went the extra mile for us when they went and got accredited on the smart control system for our house so that they could make the controls work despite the manufacturer over-promising what their control system could do. LDS is very responsive and responsible. They listened to our particular requirements and I suspect we were a client who was very particular.

The Lighting Design Studio came highly recommended through our other contractors. They have jumped in at the eleventh hour and agreed to do work for us. We had not only the lighting design done, but also where to get them from and at what prices. when some of the suppliers could not deliver on time, they have had not only sourced alternatives, but they had fittings sent abroad and tested to suit the control systems we were using. Definitely will always recommend to other commercial and domestic contractors. It is quite refreshing to work with a young, dynamic, energetic yet so knowledgable team.

After seeing the work The Lighting Design Studio did for my uncle in his restaurant I was confident enough to contact them myself in regards to my new business, a cafe on Brick Lane. It was my first business and I think anyone opening something new can agree with me, you need to work with someone who is easy to communicate with, patient and brings lots of ideas to the table. Something the Lighting Design Studio excelled at! Unfortunately, there was a complication with my LED tape due to an electrician, in a state of panic after investing quite a bit of money into them I contacted the Lighting Design Studio for help to see if I could get them fixed through the supplier who sourced them. To my amazement - they made contact and solved my problem and now I have a beautifully lit cafe. When I extend into my basement I will pick no other company. For sure.

I contacted The Lighting Design Studio to advise on appropriate lighting to illuminate some intricately detailed resin sculptures. Luke was incredibly helpful, understood the requirements entirely and suggested an approach and range of products that brought out the best in the pieces. I will definitely be using them again.

Luke at The Lighting Design Studio was friendly, helpful, patient and full of great ideas to light my new home. I LOVE what he has done and am very appreciative of the thought and patience he showed throughout the job. He has always got back to me with answers to any questions and tweaked the plan without a hint of annoyance. I thoroughly recommend this company and am so happy with the results and the fact that I don't have boring halogens in the ceilings everywhere giving me a headache! Luke worked within a budget and was honest about the effect of cutting costs. He was very helpful about how to reduce costs and also brilliant at sending links to websites very quickly. I feel very lucky that I found him on the internet by chance and recommend him to everyone I know!

I worked with Luke on 3 separate mini projects including lighting for our office / staff area, bathrooms and also for my living room at home. Luke is very personable and friendly and clearly understands lighting.
