Marc has recently fitted 2 bespoke alcove units with wire management and two floating shelves for us. The alcoves have really transformed our front room, we are so happy with them and everything has been finished to perfection. Nothing was too much trouble for Marc, he even repaired our skirting boards after a mistake had been made by our log burner fitter. Myself and my partner both commented on the high level of craftsmanship shown, he is a true perfectionist. We can’t recommend Marc highly enough and we will definitely be asking Marc to help us with furture projects. Many thanks Jessica and Dave

We recently had our bathroom renovated by JDC Ceramics & Bathrooms Ltd. As we were spending so much money, we realised that we would have to do our research before deciding upon a supplier. There are several bathroom companies in our area and we had visited a couple of showrooms before moving further afield on the recommendation of a friend. We had a basic idea of how we wanted the bathroom to look but upon entering the showroom at JDC we were immediately impressed by the quality and variety of displays which are set out really well and gave us some fresh ideas. Jeff was very attentive and helpful, giving technical and design advice. We booked a free site survey and JDC took it from there. Following the site survey we attended the showroom and went through the design with Jeff, he had drawn up plans and displayed 3D pictures on a large TV screen that were so detailed that they looked like photographs of the finished bathroom! We changed a few little things and they were immediately reflected in the drawings. Eventually we came up with the final design, paid a deposit and agreed a start date. Jennie then went through the paperwork with us, discussed the guarantees and work schedule and said that Bill would come and see us before the job started. A week later, we had second thoughts about the colour of the tiles and called Jennie. She said that it was not a problem and we should call in at our convenience to go through the design again. We went back in the showroom and Jennie picked out several tiles that she thought would go well with the furniture. We chose an alternative and left. Jennie called us back a couple of hours later to confirm that the new tiles were available and were on order, also there was a small cost saving! A couple of weeks before we were due to start, we received a call from Bill, the Contracts Manager at JDC who made an appointment to visit our home to discuss the logistics of the project. He arrived, donned his blue overshoes and accompanied us to the bathroom. He had a good look around, knocked on the walls in the bathroom, asked several questions and put us at ease with his calm, friendly manner. He then got out his torch and had a look in the loft and airing cupboard and asked to see the boiler and fuseboard. He was certainly very thorough! He asked if there was storage space in the garage for materials, discussed the best spot for the skip and advised us to remove anything we wanted to keep from the bathroom prior to the arrival of the workforce. He even advised us to take down pictures from the stairs and to move ornaments from the hall because workmen would be moving heavy materials up and down the stairs. He gave us his business card with his mobile phone number advised us to call him if we had any queries or concerns and left. The skip arrived on the Saturday. D-Day! Kieran arrived and applied a plastic protection to the carpeting in the hall, up the stairs and along the landing to the bathroom. He was closely followed by Ed, the plumber and his sidekick Sam who had the old bathroom out and in the skip faster than I could imagine! I rang Jennie in the office to pay the next instalment then Bill came to check that everything was ok and had some technical discussions with Ed who then spent most of the day doing the plumbing. Kieran came back with Jamie just before Ed left and started to prepare the room for tiling. By 5pm we were able to go and view the bathroom alone. We were amazed with the progress and how much bigger the bathroom looked! We had a glass of wine to celebrate. On Tuesday Kieran and Jamie turned up and continued to prepare the walls and floor for tiling. James and Pip, the electricians, then arrived and started the electrics. James had us up in the bathroom discussing switching arrangements and lighting positions. Bill then arrived and made sure that we were happy with the progress of the job, spoke to the lads for a few minutes and said if we needed anything to him to give him a call. The PVC ceiling went up and the lights and fan were in. That evening we surveyed our large, empty, well-lit bathroom. We had a glass of wine to celebrate. Wednesday arrived and so did Kieran and Jamie. They disappeared upstairs and carried on with the work. Jennie rang to check that we were happy with everything and said that we should expect to have some tiles up today! Bill arrived and spoke to the lads. He had time for a cup of tea! He noticed that a couple of screws had popped a little bit of plaster off the hall ceiling, probably due to the banging and activity above. He told us not to worry, it would be put right before the job was finished. Later on, Kieran asked us to go through the layout of the tiling with him as he thought that he could improve on the original design by putting the feature tiles in a different place. We agreed with him and tiling commenced! That night, with quite a few tiles on the wall, shower tray in, shiny new ceiling and LED lights, we could see it all coming together. We had a glass of wine to celebrate. On Thursday we realised that we would need a shower basket in the shower enclosure and, after Kieran and Jamie arrived, we hot-footed it to see Jeff and Jennie. Jeff had a few minutes before his next appointment so we stayed for a coffee and a chat. We chose a shower basket and a shelf too. Jennie ordered them for us and we returned to see how the bathroom was coming on. Kieran said that the tiling could be finished today and Ed would return tomorrow to finish the plumbing. Around 4pm Jamie said that a box of floor tiles appeared to be damaged and that the tiling wouldn’t be finished today but they would complete all that they could to allow Ed to finish his bit. That night we surveyed our bathroom. Large and (almost) completely tiled. We have been promised a working shower for the weekend! We had a glass of wine to celebrate. Friday started early. As did Ed. 7.30am. Ed advised us to fill the kettle as the water would be off for a large part of the day. He and Sam got about their business and Bill turned up. He apologised for the inconvenience caused by the damaged tiles and said that replacements would arrive on Monday so the impact would be minimal. He also said that Alan would be arriving on Monday afternoon to paint the bathroom door casing and door and also to repair the hall ceiling. In the afternoon, Ed was finished. Kieran turned up to seal the shower and all the corners so that we could use the bathroom over the weekend if we wanted. That night we looked at our very nearly completed brand new bathroom. We had finished the bottle of wine so we went out for a meal to celebrate. On Saturday night we looked at our bathroom and had a shower to celebrate. On Monday morning James arrived to fit the lit mirror and do his testing for the electrical certificate. Bill arrived with the tiles and to check that all was ok and that we knew how everything worked. Kieran and Jamie came to fit the last couple of tiles and finish off the little bits including fitting the accessories. The skip was taken away and Jamie jet-washed the drive where it had been. Alan turned up to paint in the bathroom and repair and paint the hall ceiling. We went to Tesco. When Kieran left he and Jamie took everything away from the garage and took up the plastic carpet protection. Jennie called to say that the cleaners would be in tomorrow and to check that we were happy with everything. Carole called from the cleaning contractors to arrange a time for tomorrow to clean the bathroom. That night we stood in our brand new, amazing bathroom and smiled. We wondered why we needed the cleaners but we’ll go with the flow. We had a glass of wine to celebrate. We had been to Tesco. On Tuesday morning Bill called to arrange a time to visit to go through the final paperwork, the cleaners were booked for 10 so we agreed 1pm. The cleaners turned up at 10 to 10 and spent an hour cleaning what we thought was an already clean bathroom. We were amazed at the difference! It sparkled. Bill arrived just before 1pm and we went through the whole bathroom with him, checking everything was working fine and that we were happy with it all. We signed to agree that we were satisfied and Bill left. I called Jennie to thank her and the whole team for such a fantastic job and paid the final balance. Then we stood in our beautiful new bathroom and were very, very happy with it. We had a cup of tea to celebrate. It was only 2pm after all! If anybody is considering commissioning a bathroom refurbishment then they should look no further than JDC Ceramics & Bathrooms Ltd. The products are of the highest quality possible and the service is absolutely second to none. The whole experience has been a pleasure and everybody we have met has been polite, courteous, professional and friendly. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of them and each and every one through the whole process from meeting Jeff and Jennie on day one to Bill signing off the job at the end has been absolutely fantastic. The teamwork was seamless and we will certainly be speaking to Jeff again soon when we are ready to refurbish the kitchen.

We have used Fiona Watkins on a number of our projects, but our development of 'Larchwood', as a new build contemporary home, was the largest of these assignments. Fiona delivered a full service interior design, including but limited to: decor, finishings, kitchen, bathrooms, lighting and furniture. We truly believe that this fabulous, high value home would not have turned out as well as it did, without Fiona's design management. Fiona is not only an exceptional interior designer but her personable approach both with us and the contractor's on site made it so much more an enjoyable experience. Her services were also extended to the procurement of a variety of fixtures and finishings, including the kitchen and bathroom. She was able to negotiate some terrific deals and made considerable cost savings to the project. We would highly recommend Fiona to anyone wishing to appoint a talented Interior Designer. I have been working with Claire and her company for the past 3-4 months on the redesign of my house. I employed the skills of a professional interior designer after attempting some of the previous design concepts myself and unfortunately the results were not entirely to my satisfaction. From the outset Claire asked what I liked/disliked and provided examples of furniture and decorating ideas to get a feel for what I was looking for. This was extremely helpful as this provided the basis of her work. I wasn’t entirely sure which design concepts I favoured but had ideas of the ‘look’ I was hoping to achieve, after getting into my head Claire continued with suggestions until we decided together on the final aspects. I am very happy with the results and the way the design work progressed from initial brief to final look. I have had lots of positive comments on the room designs, most people say that it is very suited to my own lifestyle and individual tastes. These comments alone prove that Claire understood my personal preferences even if I did not understand them fully myself! M Pilkington Pilkington Oils

When Oliver promptly responded to my e-mail HELP I NEED ASSITANCE ! the amazing journey commenced as he started to transform our dull, cold, boring barn room, into the most exquisite, comfortable, warm and inviting living area. He injected the 'WOW factor' into our house and we LOVE IT, along with everyone who walks into the room. I can honestly say he has changed my life ! The moment we met Oliver, we knew he was the one that would meet our needs His professionalism, wealth of experience and knowledge, enthusiasm, patience, attention to detail and above all his delivery of fantastic customer service instilled our trust in him. So we commissioned Oliver to transform our room, consulting us along the way with the colour scheme, wallpaper, lighting, furniture, and carpet. Everything he sourced for us, was of high quality and very different to our usual taste, which that is what we wanted. I called it an amazing journey as it truely was- we were taken out of our comfort zone, had fun along the way and now I trust Oliver so much with his ideas and natural flair for interior design and architect, that we are using his services again for another room in the house. Oliver is a very talented man, who is very passionate about his profession and would highly recommend him. He is so fabulous and very genuine. Thank you Oliver for responding to my plea for Help. If anyone wishes to speak to me further then you can do so via Oliver.

I first asked Mark to replace a door frame and install a door. I wanted to see what Mark could do and what he is like to work with before making commitments for other work. Since installing the first door he has successfully gone on to: •Replace all doors in the home, •Install 3 sets of pocket doors, •Rearrange internal partition walls to make a new walk in wardrobe. •Lay laminate flooring, skirting and coving. Mark is great to work with. He takes my ideas, improves them and them executes an excellent job. He also listens and takes on-board ideas he’d not considered. His bespoke work is excellent – attention to detail ‘Spot on’. Not only does he provide a service to my high standards, he does it in a very relaxed and friendly way. He’s totally trustworthy; I have no worries leaving him in my home unattended. He also gets on well with my 12 year old. We always know where he is in the house because he whistles to himself while working. I’d recommend mark to undertake any activity – he’s a craftsman who seems able to turn his hand to anything.

Remodelling your kitchen is an exciting, yet equally daunting prospect. From the beginning of our kitchen project to the end, Dan, has been nothing but professional, reliable and friendly; he’s been efficient, always getting back to us when we’ve had a query, informative about new products on the market and patient, even when we changed our mind over the initial layout of the kitchen. So, the result is a kitchen we’ve only ever seen in magazines and one we never thought we’d have - from the beautiful granite and latest appliances to the bespoke floating shelving, the Scottish oak table and the panelling he made for an awkward pillar, which has now become a feature. Thanks Dan and team, we couldn’t be more pleased!

Having met with several of the 'big boys' to quote for our office makeover, we were disillusioned by what was on offer. One never turned up as promised, whilst another wouldn't design anything without an order being placed. A third one offered the most basic designs imaginable. We found it incredibly hard to visualise something based upon the sketches that they knocked together. They all obviously wanted the business but the prices quoted were outrageous, A local tradesman told us to try Stag Kitchens & Interiors so we contacted Jason to come up with a bespoke solution to our cramped office problem. He came a few days later, took measurements, showed us some materials to come up with a colour scheme and went away to work on the task. He came back a week later, and the visuals he produced were amazing, just like photographs. We knew there and then we had found what we were looking for. Jason answered our numerous calls and texts, and continued to finesse the design as per our exacting requests and supervised the installation of our office. The ongoing advice he provided helped us create a fantastic office that suited our requirements, utilising all the space effectively. The materials used were excellent and the installation was complete in under 4 days. We are delighted with the finished product, and we have recommended Stag to family, friends and neighbours, which I know has resulted in further projects for Jason.

This is the second time I have engaged Paul on this occasion to make and fit a substantial side gate to my Victorian property. The materials and workmanship were to the highest standards in every detail and I was delighted with the finished product. He was thoroughly reliable, meticulous and helpful at every stage. Last year he fitted a new bespoke front door to the house and made necessary repairs to the door frame etc. I could not fault the quality of the workmanship and his diligence was very impressive. Both jobs were delivered to time and to budget and represented very good value for money. Undoubtedly a highly skilled carpenter
