Loft Conversion Specialists in Great Dunmow, Essex

“ConstructX Group completed our L-shaped dormer loft conversion in early 2025 and we’re genuinely so pleased we went with them. The loft has given us two proper bedrooms and a bathroom, and it’s completely changed how we use the house day to day. It wasn’t the simplest build either as they had to lower ceilings to get the right head height, re-roof the front, and tie everything in neatly. They also fitted Velux windows, a skylight over the landing and air conditioning, and everything was finished to a really high standard. The team were reliable, easy to speak to, and the whole job felt well managed from start to finish. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“The team at Griffon Construction has worked on my renovation project over the past few months, including the loft conversion, two bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, plaster boarding, carpentry, mist-coat to name a few. I initially planned to use them just for the loft conversion but they did such an amazing job on the loft that I was more than happy to use them for the rest of the project. The work was done to a very high standard, in a timely manner, with a great attention to detail. The team was very friendly, looked after the site and was always ready to help and listen. Darius, the company’s director and my main contact, was the most helpful and engaged contractor I have worked with. He guided me through the whole process and kept me up to date with everything. He made plenty of great suggestions and ideas on how to improve my design and I am so glad I took them on board and implemented them as all were spot on! If you are looking for a great quality of work, attention to detail, a helpful and tidy team with a real can-do attitude, Griffon Construction is for you. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Actually, I’m hoping they will have time to do my extension in, helpfully, not so distant future”

“Jake did our dormer loft conversion in November 2021. We got several companies to quote but decided to go with Concept Lofts as the price was competitive and the timeframe quick which was important to us as we wanted minimal disruption. The whole build process couldn’t have gone better and the job was completed in 4.5 weeks. Jakes team were professional, turned up on time, extremely hardworking, and cleared away after themselves. The communication with Jake throughout was great and he was on hand to answer any questions we had. Our neighbours even commented about how speedy and efficient the job was. The end result is fantastic and we are so happy that we made the decision to go with Concept Lofts.”
