Loft Conversion Professionals in Hertford, Hertfordshire

“Our kitchen extension was in need of refurbishment, but after some poor experiences with builders in the past, we had kept putting the work off and were anxious about finding a reliable builder. LoftCraft had built our neighbours’ loft, and we had been impressed by how tidy, quiet and efficient their team were. After talking to our neighbours, we felt confident choosing LoftCraft for our project. The work included refurbishing the kitchen, converting the ground-floor shower room into a toilet and utility room, replacing the bi-fold doors with sliding doors, replacing the casement windows and existing glass roof, installing two Velux windows, fitting a new kitchen, extensive electrical work and decoration. New wood flooring was also laid throughout the ground floor. Extending it into the main hall and garage conversion was outside the original scope, but the team were more than happy to accommodate this. Jack was fantastic from our first meeting through to the final snagging. He was professional, responsive, patient with my many questions and extremely knowledgeable. His attention to detail is incredible, and having Jack project-manage the work was invaluable. Chris and Mirek were outstanding. They worked incredibly hard and their skill, professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional. They were also an absolute pleasure to have around. The pride they take in their work is clear in the finished result, which has exceeded our expectations. Would I recommend LoftCraft? Without hesitation. Would we use them again? Absolutely — a definite yes from us!”

“Alex is super professional and on the ball at all times. He always thinks ahead and won't let you down. All his teams, from bricklayers, carpentry to electrics, roofing, tiling, painting, flooring and plumbing are excellent and hard working. They are all friendly yet professional. They are conscientious and want the job to be well done. Would really recommend this company that has a lot of experience working across London and with the different Councils, especially with garden and loft extensions. We are very happy with our loft extension which includes a brand new kitchen. LCCL showed great attention to detail. They did a fantastic job!”

“Build Abode did a full house renovation and extension for us, including garage conversion, side rear extension and loft conversion. They transformed our vision from the drawing board into reality. Sukh and Mandeep, along with the others who worked on our property were professional throughout. From the initial consultation to the completion, they showed remarkable skill and attention to detail. Mandeep and Happy are very knowledgeable and navigated some complex challenges around the original plan. We are very happy with the workmanship, and the standards that they adhered to. Timelines were met consistently, there was clear communication throughout and the team was always courteous during the 6 months of build time. Most importantly, after the work was finished, unlike some other builders, they were still available to come and fix some of the snagging work. They even came and fixed issues for our neighbours which was appreciated by all the parties. They worked around our schedules and did an excellent job of supporting us as we moved back into the property. I wholeheartedly recommend Build Abode to anyone seeking a trustworthy and competent builder for their building projects.”
