Featured Reviews for Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester

Elite Kitchens Manchester
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“Elite Kitchens..a name that not only sounds like its taken at least three seconds to create but is cheesier than a big lump of Red Leicester . Not just that, the title by definition leaves the owner Paul O'Brien a lot to live up to.
Now when people are looking to spend money on their kitchen there are a couple of facts we need to consider. First of all the kitchen is the most used room in the house. Its not only a room, its a place of work and a place for social gathering..so there's no point in penny pinching .
In a world overflowing with cliches heres one that relates to Paul "You only get what you pay for......I'll warn you here...Elite are not cheap...
BUT his work is top drawer ...if you want a beutifull ,bespoke, robust, functional and long lasting kitchen then contact Paul”

Swerdlow Interiors
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“I have found Swerdlow an absolute pleasure to deal with, personal yet professional. My kitchen design is bespoke and not something off the shelf or from a computer programme, it is personal to me.
It has been expertly fitted and it brings a smile to my face every time i go in the room.
Compared to rivals, including big names, Swerdlow are excellent value for money and I would recommend Swerdlow for any project.”

Kitchen Architecture
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“We converted a pottery into a home, so the space designated for the kitchen had previously housed kilns. Rob walked in, took one look at the space, and knew instantly how to maximise it. We were about to get it very wrong by creating a new wall in front of the sloping bedrock, whereas Rob cleverly utilised the available space by insetting the cabinets into the wall from a workable height (see pics). The design worked extremely well.
I can honestly say that the kitchen inspired me to cook. Previously, cooking was a chore; something I had to do and definitely not something I wanted to do. It was a revelation to experience a well designed, extremely useable kitchen. I especially liked having self-cleaning ovens and a large bench top space.
The kitchen is now eight years old and a tradesman who recently visited commented, "It's amazing, it looks the same as it did when you first had it fitted." So it's been a sound investment both gastronomically and financially!”

Used Kitchen Exchange
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“I found Used Kitchen Exchange during a major house renovation / extension, after getting some quotes for kitchens... which were huge! I thought, "is there another way, I'm not paying that much?!", and in searching through the website (really good images and details), I was looking at a number of ex-display (brand new) kitchens, and saw one advertised (it was still in the showroom), that looked as though it might well work.
After speaking with my builder and doing lots of measuring, it looked like yes, this could be perfect - and so I took a train from London to York to see it in person as I didn't want to miss out.
It was better than I'd hoped, matched perfectly what we needed, and I bought it there and then - for a a bargain price. Including SEVEN (!) completely brand new NEFF appliances (they were all boxed, not even display items - FOUR (!) ovens, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, induction hob!!!), all of the (very large) granite work surfaces, and a masses of bespoke, German quality kitchen units, at massively below the price I could have got for a cheap kitchen from a standard operator. I could not be more pleased.
The firm (InToTo) arranged delivery, and everything arrived safely. I was even able to buy one extra unit that I needed because it was a 'current' range. My builder installed it easily, and aside from a couple of minor granite 'cuts' that were needed, it was basically installed exactly as it was in the showroom (the company was moving to a new office, hence had to sell of the display kitchens at its current venue).
We now have an absolute dream kitchen that friends are amazed by - and in the process, we probably saved, honestly, at least £25,000 over buying new. I PROMISE that is not a typo, the full retail price of the whole package we ended up with would have been approaching £40,000.
So, simply spending the time reviewing the ex-display kitchens on the UKE website proved to be a great investment of time. You might not get quite as good a deal as I managed... but I would highly recommend giving it a chance, because it worked for me.”

Arlington Interiors
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“We were so impressed with our first experience of Arlington's, so, when we decided to do a new apartment, we had no hesitation in returning to Ben to bespoke- design our new area. Once again, we are not disappointed! Indeed, the 'new' showroom they have since moved to in Farsley was a joy in itself.
From the start, Ben was attentive to our requirements and budget, making site visits and focussing on the best use of space...the attention to detail was superb and, at the review stage, nothing was too much trouble, in terms of making amendments to the design.
The whole team were friendly, as I often wandered the showroom, whilst deciding on a colour scheme and we were able to borrow panels, in order to make the right decisions on units in situ. Bearing in mind this was at a time when they were also busy working on renovating some displays in the showroom, they remained friendly and helpful at all times.”

David Lisle Kitchen Design
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“Back in the closing weeks of 2008, we provided David Lisle with a description of the space, our requirements, some dimensions and a couple of photos. It wasn’t long before he began sketching free hand on a large sheet of paper with a biro, producing imaginative, striking and unique ideas as he worked. His years of experience had clearly given him a strong appreciation of the practical ergonomics of a workspace, but it was the beauty of his creation that was always front and centre.
Over the following few days, we threw ideas to and fro until we arrived at a genuinely exciting design. Other than the oven housing, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, there were no “standard units” in the room. If the space needed a 617mm drawer unit, then that was what David designed and specified. There are no random filler strips in his work other than those necessary to cater for the inherent imperfections in all walls. His design was 100% bespoke and it showed in David’s sketches and technical drawings.
The install was expected to take 5 weeks, and in-spite of some heavy February snow causing some issues, the project was delivered exactly on time. There were 17 craftsmen/women involved in the creation of our room and every one of them provided a superb and professional service.
Once completed, the kitchen was simply stunning. It’s 7 years since the install and nearly everyone who has ever stepped into the room has commented on how lovely it is. Other than a few small pieces of general wear and tear, the room looks as perfect as the day it was installed and I attribute this primarily to the quality of the product.
A David Lisle kitchen really does represent ‘value for money’. There are other, lower cost ways of installing a new kitchen, but these will not come close to the level of quality, unique design, bespoke service and attention to detail delivered with a David Lisle kitchen. We feel that our kitchen was worth every penny, and it continues to give us pleasure every day. Consequently we have no hesitation in recommending David Lisle to anyone in the market for a new kitchen, especially if they want to make a lasting statement with the room.”

LANA FILIPPOVA INTERIORS by Svetlana Filippova
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“I have known Lana for some time and have seen many examples of the magic she has worked for other clients. A couple of years ago I bought a large, Victorian house which had many original features intact, but was in need of a complete makeover from top to bottom.
Other than wanting to keep the original fireplaces, deep skirting boards, lincrusta wallcovering and decorative covings, I didn't really have a particular 'look' in mind. Lana explained that the refurbishment would have to be completed in phases, with the first stage focusing on building work. The combination of her meticulous planning and extensive network of contacts meant that the replumbing, rewiring, complete window replacement and building of a new staircase were all completed on time, to budget and with the minimum of fuss. There was, of course, a lot of disruption during this part of the process but the end results were worth it. Lana's input into the design of the new, large double glazed sash windows has turned them into beautiful features, rather than functional objects. Her design of the new staircase to fit into a tight space demonstrates her technical expertise aswell as creativity.
Phase 2 of the project involved the replacement of bathrooms and the kitchen. Lana designed the layouts for each, starting with a blank piece of paper. A number of options were explained to me, from the fairly straightforward replacement like-for-like of fittings, through to the complete rebuild including removal of walls. Having selected the preferred layout (I went for the complete rebuild), Lana then set to work sourcing unusual and stunning tiles, worktops, fittings and lighting. The results are amazing - totally functional rooms but beautiful at the same time.
The final phase (for now, at least) of the transformation was the one which people normally associate with interior designers - furniture, fabrics, floor coverings, lighting and accessories. I confess to being hopeless at putting together combinations of colours, designs and textures but Lana is an absolute star. The array of products she is able to source from around the world is incredible and for each room I was presented with alternative schemes. I have contemporary furniture from Italy covered in fabric from France, sliding panels created from Japanese silk, light fittings from Portugal and bespoke furniture, hand crafted locally to Lana's original design.
The overall look of the house is phenomenal. The original Victorian features have been brought back to life by careful choices of colour and are complemented throughout by the careful choice of modern materials. As if this isn't enough, Lana produces fabulous original artwork on canvas, glass, metal and wood. The perfect finishing touch to any room.”

Queenline Kitchens and Bedrooms
Bespoke Cabinets in Manchester
“Wonderful service from start to finish. Dealing with Queenline was a breath of fresh air compared to our previous kitchen installation experience and other companies we came across as part of the quotation process. Every part of the process is well organised and the installation team was fantastic (fitters, electrician and plasterer). Even the recommended flooring company were brilliant. Importantly the quality of the cabinets themselves is excellent - sturdy and built to last.”
