Corella
Basement Conversion in Market Lavington, Wiltshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars12 May 2021
Corella made our dream project a reality. They built us a 3 bay ‘old’ oak barn from reclaimed materials and used traditional methods to build it. The barn is an object of such beauty (it has the ‘wow’ factor that we wanted) and not only will it be in daily use, it will also stand for hundred of years as a testament to the talented team which built it. We found Corella to be an extremely capable team, applying the same professional dedication and high quality workmanship to every job. Their customer service is second to none – costs are transparent and options are discussed throughout the work, whether that’s on a small or large build or restoration. They made us feel a part of the team and the workmanship is excellent so we would highly recommend them.
Stephen Graver

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars5 December 2014
I found Stephen and his team to be of the highest standard professionally with outstanding craftmanship and expertise. The kitchen is trully bespoke, I asked Stephen to copy a French style hood over the cooker from a magazine picture, including stainless steel rivets and it was faithfully reproduced in every detail. Although the kitchen was built for a house in Cornwall, the minor issues that arose after installation were sorted out very quickly and the kitchen was built and installed on schedule. I also designed a basin stand for the house which was also built by Stephen, again beautifully put together and finished. I would not hesitate to recommend Stephen Graver kitchens as the best you will find.
Milton Architects
Basement Conversion in Market Lavington, Wiltshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars20 November 2019
Milton Architects successfully achieved planning consent for a large side, rear and basement extension to a Grade II listed building located within a sensitive conservation areas, indeed the task was not easy. Amanda Milton did an excellent job in preparing planning drawings which complemented the character of the street whilst being focused on the client brief provided, Armada's Architectural design was a key factor in securing approval from the planners. Milton Architect were very professional, committed to the agreed deadlines and had a proactive approach throughout the project. Their fees were very transparent and without any hidden charges, highly recommended and without doubt money well spent.

Martin Blake Associates ltd
Basement Conversion in Market Lavington, Wiltshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars10 June 2016
Martin took our run-down, dark and damp, turn of the century house and transformed it into a light and contemporary home. He struck the perfect balance between modern and traditional and made the whole house so much more usable and practical. He maximised the south-facing aspect with a new kitchen-diner with lots of light and made the garden feel part of the house. He transformed a pokey roof space with higher ceilings, light tubes and velux windows. Without the 'before' photos, it's difficult to believe that such a transformation could be possible. Martin designed and managed the entire project and successfully mediated between us and the main contractors when we didn't see eye to eye. We definitely won't shop around for an architect when we undertake our next project, we'll just talk to Martin.
George Davies Group Ltd
Basement Conversion in Market Lavington, Wiltshire
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars9 March 2017
I have used the GD Group a for a couple of jobs in my old house; decorating my first child's nursery, landscaping my garden and re-vamping my kitchen. GD Group came to my house and gave me an estimate for the work and, on the whole, they stuck to it. I appreciate that when the design changed (because I changed my mind!) this effected the costs but they discussed this with me thoroughly beforehand and gave me all the options, so there were no 'hidden charges'. It felt like GD Group took the time to get to know me, what I was after and the style/nature of my home and this made a big difference. The Landscaping of my garden was a huge job and I was beyond pleased with the finished results, so much so that we seriously debated selling our house because we loved it so much. Funnily enough, its the first thing the buyer commented on for his viewing and it became one of the key selling points of the house. GD Group were really tidy around the site, they were always really polite and respectful of my home and belongings, which to me was really important. They turned up on time and did a good day's work. They came up with design ideas that I hadn't thought of; they really know their stuff. My kitchen re-vamp was a significantly cheaper job that the garden works, but I never once felt that they didn't take this job as seriously or give as much dedication because it was a smaller budget. The finish and work was excellent. I had used painters/decorators before and once they'd left I'd found a few 'snagging' bits that I wasn't happy with and trying to get them back in was a nightmare. I didn't have any of that with the GD Group. I am now in the process of getting the GD Group to come into my new home to do the works I need done. They have already suggested some excellent ideas for our garden that work in our budget; I need a space for adults and a space for young children in a relatively small garden and what they have suggested and designed works perfectly and is affordable for us. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the GD Group as finding a tradesperson/company that I can trust has been such a peace of mind for me, so much so that I haven't gone around getting quotes for my new house, I've just called them back in.
