Dean explained that he would have to rebuild sills, sand, fill and paint. I'm very happy, he insisted on giving 2 coats of paint even though I was happy with one. “The site was not very promising, with steep slopes and a lot of shade from a large yew tree, yet Jacqui created a beautiful garden,with imaginative walls and other features. She also listened to our request for as much colour as possible throughout the year. The result has been much admired and is getting better each year as the plants develop. Her plan was also very practical and ensured that the plants did not slide down the steep slopes despite some very wet winters. As a result, they are now firmly established.”
