Graham Halpenny Decorators have done a brilliant job from beginning to end. I especially valued their communications, which seems a difficult aspect for many of the contractors I have had experience with! Not only do they answer or return calls promptly, they turn up when they say they're going to, and supplied all the brochures, advice and tester pots I could want, taking all the hard work out of getting the job done. And all the painting and restoration of our render and bay window has been carried out with great professionalism and care; I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have waited until now to leave a review, because the effectiveness of the treatment is relevant. Details of the job:- To remove bad mould from a bathroom ceiling and wall tops in our rental property. After removal, seal with mould sealer and re-decorate affected areas. An excellent job, done at extremely short notice, still perfect after 18 months. The cost was lower than I expected in view of the urgency.

painted/paper 9 rooms in our house Graham's team provided a very professional service: > Graham came out promptly to spec out the job and sent an estimate the same day > he was helpful in adjusting the details of the work to make sure it came within our budget > the work was completed within the time estimated > can't fault the quality of the painting and wallpapering > their prep work on the walls was good > they were very considerate in the house - keeping disruption to a minimum > they were careful with our furniture when moving it around I'd happily recommend them to anyone else.

I approached Graham's company for a quote after they were highly recommended by a friend. When I received the reasonably priced quote we accepted and were extremely happy with the work completed. The decorators where polite and extremely professional, the work was finished on time as promised and we are extremely happy with our beautiful new home and will be certainly returning in the future!

We wanted 6 rooms, hall stairs and landing redecorated and we got quotes from several decorators. Graham Halpenny stood out because he was prompt to respond, gave an honest assessment of what needed doing without exaggerating the work needed, was flexible on a start date and a good price. Graham assigned us a really hard working experienced decorator who also tackled some non decorating tasks; the decorator worked a full 8 hour day with a minimal lunch break. He explained what he was doing and made very useful suggestions. Graham also accommodated our need to suspend some work whilst the staircase was being refurbished. Throughout the work, which took two weeks, Graham was on hand to check on progress and answer questions. We would certainly recommend him and will use him again.

I was very pleased with how responsive the service was: quick reply, initial visit to discuss work and quote when contacted; and work scheduled and done very quickly once agreed. Telephone or email communication was answered very quickly. The work was done to a high standard exactly as promised. I would certainly hire them again.

We had one large bedroom decorated which had exceptionally high ceiling and several defects which needed repair. The work was completed to a high standard, the defects were completely covered and the work was done on time. The decorator who did the work was very friendly, tidy and eager to please. Graham attended frequently and ensured everything ran smoothly. We would definitely use this company again. Chris. Cambridge
