Took £3k deposit, carried out zero work. Blocked calls and ran with money! Trying to claim job was cancelled! He agreed to start when builders were ready later, picked for early deposit to secure him, but saw an opportunity to block and run with cash!! Disingenuous!

Pleasant, respectful team of workers happy to do anything for their client. Good quality work on walls, ceilings, doors, coving and skirting throughout the entire bungalow. Turned up every day and worked constantly. Very pleased with their standards and attitude.

I've had a very bad experience with Saul Mitchell Interiors. Whilst getting close to finishing a painting and decorating job at my house this summer, Saul put me under heavy pressure to pay the balance due for the job on the promise that it would be finished that week. Under duress I reluctantly agreed, but then Saul immediately left and has not returned to finish the job. Over many weeks I have repeatedly asked Saul to come back and finish the last room. Initially he promised to come, but never did and now he just ignores my calls and emails. Its the worst experience I have ever had with a tradesman.

We hired Saul to redesign our kitchen. We have a ‘turn of the century’ house in Grant Park and wanted a modern update that would still fit with the overall architecture of the house. Saul was great to work with and came up with ideas we never would have thought of ourselves. We're very happy customers!

I actually booked Saul due to his feedback online from other customers and even though my dad who is a property developer said he was very expensive I decided to take the chance as he seemed legit. We had Saul come over and discuss what we wanted done; going through every room, colour schemes etc and quotes were raised and accepted. From day 1 we explained we wanted all holes filling and painting over, 3 walls to be feature walls etc and certain cupboards to be done. There was a 5-day window in which to do this in which Saul knew and accepted. It took them 2-3 days just to 'prep' the house however he completely forgot to fill in all the holes .... he claimed I didn't tell him this however I had message evidence reiterating we wanted this to happen and him saying OK to it. Therefore, once the job was done and we were home we could see lots of empty unfilled holes = Saul would have to fill and repaint at a later date. Another thing that was very frustrating and in my opinion is that the work wasn't finished in time. We arrived home Thursday morning to find none of the feature walls had been done, holes not filled etc! Even after the 2 extra days he STILL missed out half the holes that needed filling / some were filled in terribly and needed re doing. The job then stopped at the end of July and Saul said he would come back soon to do the rest of the touch ups and filling..... finally come end of august we had him booked back in to do this. HOWEVER on the day Saul decided not to show nor communicate with us that he wasn't coming until the end of the day. This is very unacceptable especially when my husband stayed in all day with our 1-year-old to ensure Saul could get access to the house. It took MULTIPLE calls and texts for Saul to then explain he wasn't coming - not OK. Then he said he was coming on the Wednesday of that week ... again, my husband stayed in ensuring Saul would have access; come midday still no sign of Saul... MULTIPLE phone calls and texts later and nothing .... and then a text to say he had childcare issues. he was reading my messages and not responding and then didn't even have the decency to call. 3rd time lucky but this time I had to give Saul a set of keys as my husband and I were both working... I planned my week around Saul doing 'either Tuesday or Thursday' > Saul said he would let me know what day.... he didn't... I had to reach out and find out that he wasn't doing Tuesday and instead it would be Thursday... Thursday arrives and I presume Saul is in the house working away when on my way HOME via the nursery run i got a text at 16:13 saying he didn't go due to a migraine.... NO CALL ALL DAY? NO TEXT? Not even 10 minutes later i tried to phone Saul to get an explanation and he ignored ALL my calls and texts from myself and my husband 1) the following morning and 2) I had to threaten legal action. The job is FINALLY now done but i would NOT recommend

Saul was a delight to work with. He was able to figure out our style very quickly and became our advocate throughout our renovation project. He kept us on time and budget while helping us design our new home. Not only was he easy to work with but we now consider him a friend!

Saul and his team decorated my kitchen, utility room, hall, stairs and landing. While at my home, they were respectful, friendly and tidy. Saul’s knowledge in the trade really helped me decide on the colour schemes and made the whole process really simple and easy to understand. I was really impressed with the spraying and overall finish. I’m already considering asking for a new quote for my master bedroom and study. Highly recommended.

Saul performed a thorough and professional bathroom redecoration. Sual was also tidy and considerate of our living arrangements during the work.
