“I was moving house and although upsizing had limited loft space. The opposite of what I had in the house I was moving out of. I have always been a hoarder and had kept literally everything from theatre programmes to bus tickets, Birthday cards and letters to school books, cuddly toys to clothes. I needed to declutter and fast and I didn’t know where to start as it was like my whole life was in these of boxes and truth be told I did not want to have to throw any of it out. Maria was amazing. What was a huge mountain to climb for me she made seem so easy. It was an extremely emotional process for me but Maria made me realise I didn’t need boxes and boxes of stuff. I have kept the very special items but now have one memory box, rather than 100! I am forever grateful as since moving I have realised all those boxes would have been a total burden and what is the point in moving into a lovely new home and taking all your junk with you only to hide it away?”

“Incredibly friendly and professional service. Carrie helped me clear all the clutter out of my bedroom and create a serene and calm space. She was also able to advise on the best methods of recycling and went above and beyond by taking 2 car loads of stuff to the charity shop for me.”

“I asked Imogen to help me declutter and reorganise the upstairs of my cottage which serves as an open plan office and bedroom. Her calm, gently challenging approach enabled me to remain focussed, to let go of items that I no longer needed and find logical places for things I did. Her attention to labelling storage bags and boxes has meant I can now find things easily. She also brought fresh ideas to how the open space could be used more effectively, whilst ensuring the room looked clear. At all times we worked in partnership to achieve the agreed tasks which was important to me. I also found it helpful that Imogen took away the items for the Charity shop so the task was completed at the end of our agreed time together. Thank you Imogen!”

“'I didn't know how one person and a couple of time slots could make a meaningful change to my home, but Rebecca completely changed how I saw the space and what I could get from it. We sorted through clutter I hadn't even noticed was there because it had become so familiar, leaving me with open surfaces and a real sense of calm. She gave practical tips on more efficient storage and while she never pushed me to get rid of anything, she gave me easy ways to work out what I really value and need in my home, meaning parting with things I thought I couldn't became easy and painless. The results were so inspiring that I carried on sorting and rearranging of my own accord and am so much happier with my living space. We have gone from drowning in clutter to feeling back in control of our space and our little one bed feels twice the size. Thank you so much, Conscious Space!”
