About Us

We want to stop living an unhealthy lifestyle and start living in a nourishing meaningful home where people flourish and thrive, feel good, and do better. We want to make it easier for people to think about the way they live, work and interact with the physical spaces around them. We are Haum, a design service which is dedicated to making buildings healthy by engaging in the present environment and creating an atmosphere and spaces that nourish and encourage this. Founded by husband and wife team Niki and Richard, whose research-led design inspires a manifesto of living what you believe in, practicing a conscious lifestyle that reconnects people and spaces to nature, without a negative impact on the environment.

I had a great experience working with Niki at HAUM. Not only does she have beautiful design ideas, but she’s also a lovely person to work with. Niki is both professional and personable. She really listened to me, asked lots of questions about the space and made sure I felt involved in the whole design process. I would highly recommend HAUM for any design or building needs.

I am really amazed by the finished work on our boat and love everything about it. From the attention to the details to the colour palette suggested by Haum, our new boat feels like another home - it's very cosy and elegant at the same time. Through out the whole process the team at Haum was very assisting and helpful in every step and the communication with was smooth. I would definitely recommend them to everyone who is considering and thinking about renovating a space.
