As a professional, I normally would not review a company with which I have not personally worked but Douglas Lake Custom Homes is an exception. We had a home built across the street from a new build DLC Homes did in Lakestone and had the opportunity to observe in detail their whole building process. They actually welcomed us to go through the home several times with no agenda, just for the pride and love they have of building. Top priority was given to every detail of the build - excellent craftsmanship, superior materials, beautiful design, attention to detail and a team exceptionally qualified and on site all the time. I would rank them number one in the overall work I have seen at Lakestone. Peter, Roland and Cathy are an amazing team and I would highly recommend them. By the way, they had no idea I was a pro and welcomed my curiosity with enthusiasm.

We live in a more remote area so having Peter and Cathy was awesome they sent pictures and phoned on the progress everyday at no point did we feel that the job was not getting done. Their sub trade and suppliers were on time and professional .we are so happy we chose Douglas lake homes . Connie and I are very happy with our home on the lake

Douglas Lake Custom homes are a breath of fresh air. They are located in Vernon BC and build Custom Homes throughout the Okanagan valley. After having received quotes from the competition who blatantly inflated their pricing due in part to one of the following three items: 1. Having an Alberta telephone number. 2. Driving a vehicle with Alberta Plates. 3. Having a lakefront property. In contrast Douglas Lake Custom homes simply put, are the reason we did decide to stay in Lake country and proceed with our build instead of leaving back to Alberta. We could not be happier. They treat people with respect, along with honestly and integrity. They are on budget, deal directly with supplier and Trades business owners that are accountable. I would totally recommend them to anyone, in particular Albertans and anyone else who wish to move from other cities and build in the Okanagan.
