The first time I saw the island on Houzz I wanted to have it build. The design is classy, stylish & inviting to sit & have coffee in the morning & a glass of wine at dinner. Can't wait until it's in my kitchen.

INVIEW Interior Design

Our interior design firm worked with the Woodshop of Avon on a kitchen remodel project for our client. The process was very easy for both the designer and the client - it was open, collaborative and flexible. Kristen Veenstra at the Woodshop was able to take our design ideas and vision and turn them into a beautifully built kitchen. The end result is not only stunning, but also of a very high quality. We were very pleased with all aspects of the Woodshop of Avon during our kitchen and main floor bath remodeling project! Starting with the initial design process to the last detail of installation, they were wonderful. They are well versed in the latest trends and were able to guide us in our selections of cabinetry layout, style choices, countertop and appliances so we could get the most on our budget. Both designers I worked with went the extra mile to fit in any detail I wanted to have based on photos I admired. They were also able to give me costs of these details if changes occurred. The project was finished on schedule to host my parents 50 th wedding anniversary right after Christmas!! Would highly recommend this company!

Commented: what kind of marble behind stove?Hello. Thank you for the question. The backsplash behind the range is the same material as the countertops. That material is Soapstone and it has an oiled finish.

Commented: what is the diameter of the island?The Island top measures 108 7/8" long overall. The diameter end is 49". Hope this helps!

Commented: Stain color pleaseThe vanity was made out of solid Walnut. The stain was a custom finish we did for this client. Unfortunately there is no cross over name for other stain colors.
