William Grey-Bellis Interiors

Will Bellis, Allied A.S.I.D. - Along with the rest of the world, I sat transfixed in front of the tv screen Valentine’s Day 1962, watching Jackie Kennedy’s magical tour of the White House. That televised tour opened up a whole world never known to exist for this 11-year-old city boy, sparking a life-long love of design, decoration, art, and antiques and pointing the way to my future career. After receiving my training at the Philadelphia College of Art, I left my hometown of Philadelphia for Houston, TX, for a position as a merchandising and display manager at Suniland, one of Houston’s largest furniture and design stores. This was trial by fire, with displays changing daily, and turned out to be the BEST training of my career. Missing home and family, I returned to Philadelphia where I found positions as an associate interior designer for some of Chester and Bucks County’s finest luxury interior design firms before striking out on my own. That was 40 years ago! I can’t believe it myself. Since then, William Grey Bellis Interiors has completed numerous projects locally and internationally, including throughout the UK, Houston, TX, Palm Springs, CA, Chicago, IL and Avalon and Stone Harbor, NJ.
