Rafael Pinho

I started out as an Architect, got my degree in Brazil (my home country) and after working in a small architecture studio in Reykjavík, Iceland for a couple of years decided to set off as a photographer. I've always had a special admiration for the twilight, which is often the best light under which to portray a building or house. It makes the volumes interesting and creates a smooth transition between interior and exterior. Iceland is, of course, the land of twilight. I've just relocated to Los Angeles. My architecture photography has been featured in the likes of Domus, Archdaily, Dezeen, Architizer and A+U (Brazil). I also do a lot of advertising and editorial work, which has been published and awarded internationally.
