“This is only the most recent project for which I hired Sessa. I took out a service contract 12 yrs. ago when I first used them while renovating the building; and it includes an automatic discount on the work done. Both I and my tenants had problems with our toilet tanks. They gave me a quote before they started work, and they stuck to it. They had to return to resolve my tenants' issue, and came back promptly at no extra charge. They are real professionals: courteous, respectful, and always on time. They completely clean up after themselves, and even wear plastic shoe covers to avoid tracking in dirt. The owner, Richie, is a licensed Master Plumber, and you can see the pride he takes in his work - which comes with a 3-yr. guarentee.”

“I have been using Kook & Son for all my household plumbing, including routine maintenance and major repairs, since I bought my Jersey City condo in 2005. They are great. Mr. Kook might be the only businessman left in America who answers his own phone. They show up when they promise, are very responsive in case of emergency, and alway fix what's wrong the first time with a minimum of fuss and mess. All of their technicians are knowledgeable and easy to have in my home. I highly recommend the local family-owned business.”

“I required a plumber to replace a broken kitchen faucet with a tall faucet with spray. I had read on the web that the faucet model was complicated to install. Jeanne, the office manager was efficient. She set up the appointment and emailed the documentation of insurance and license information my finicky coop required. Junior, the technician, came at his appointment time and was efficient and competent. He wore booties, so as not to track dirt into the apartment. He was meticulous .He needed to replace three valves with broken seals in order to install the sink. He carefully measured the faucet to make sure it would fit the space before he started the work. He completely cleaned up after he was finished. He gave me good advice on some other plumbing situations I had in the apartment. The faucet is seated securely, is stable, works beautifully, and the valves he replaced do not leak. Petri Plumbing is not inexpensive, but I got what I paid for. I would hire this firm again if I needed plumbing work.”
