Your review is inappropriate.
We have the engineers report, the commissioning checklist and warranty validation record which is filled out on completion of every boiler installation. There is a section within this report that covers a tightness test on the gas pipework; our engineer has filled this out accordingly and passed off the installation. I do not believe that our engineer left the test nipple open. Furthermore the boiler would not operate if there was a gas leak within the boiler casing and we left the boiler running.
The installation was completed on 13/01/2023 which is OVER 1 YEAR AGO and we have no idea who has worked on the boiler since. We suspect someone has been called into work on it after us as we were not party to the property handover and still have all the original paperwork.
The Worcester’s engineer report dated 17/10/2023 states;
•The gas valve as letting by – this is a manufacturer default on a factory fitted part.
•Flue not sealed – Builder insisted he would carry this out as he had some externals works to finish.
•Gas nipple left open – Worcester’s report was 9 months after CJD signed off the install. I don’t believe we left it open and gas was leaking for 9 months without anyone mentioning a smell of gas.
We have conversed with you regarding this matter and advised the correct process you should follow.
