“The brief was to remodel our 1920s semi into a large modern family home. Tom understood our requirements really well and we couldn't be more pleased with the space he designed - a wrap-around extension; 2-storey to the side and 1-storey on the back. In particular, he was able to accommodate our changing ideas comfortably and gave excellent advice on design features, without the end result looking too 'design-y'. We would recommend him without hesitation.”

“I cannot recommend Dennis Hellyar architects highly enough. This was a bereft and unloved property in poor condition in need of considerable attention. DHA reviewed, and saw potential with an imaginative, bold scheme (perhaps too bold for some). Their enthusiasm and imagination carried all before it, and now we are the proud owners of an exciting and remarkable space at the heart of the city. Being new to renovations, we were heavily reliant on the team put together by DHA and I now believe our confidence in them was well placed. DHA was the fulcrum of the team, keeping a weather eye on progress, quality and costs. Above all their attention to detail proved the key to a quality result. The firm has an enormous wealth of experience covering domestic and commercial work and it was evident this was brought to bear in the job. In particular, DHA went the extra mile to make this work.”

“Steven was excellent in every regard. Stevens designs and drawings for our extension build were extremely detailed and made best use of the space available. Steven guided us through the whole successful planning application process and was always on hand to dicuss the project with our team of tradesman. Absolute professional and so friendly as well. “We initially approached Hyde and Hyde for our project as we loved their unique, contemporary designs. Once we met them we knew they were the team we wanted to work with as they totally understood what we wanted and approached the house design around how we lived our lives. We were concerned about planning, particularly as the house is located on the Gower peninsula, but they expertly navigated the process and got us our dream. They added a dimension of design detail that I would never have imagined and ensured that their vision was delivered for us by our teams onsite. Hyde and Hyde challenged us throughout the design process, with lots of debate, but we are delighted with the outcome and absolutely love our new home that wouldn't have been created without their amazing work.”

“Spencer is a great Architect. I had him draw up Plans with numerous options for a potential building project - which I hope the planners will approve (one day ??!!!?? )He was very helpful to get the plans through to the planning portal .....giving attention to the smallest detail. I find him to be a friendly,honest and well mannered person who is highly articulate in nature and design. I would have no hesitation to give him my recommendation. “Jonathan is a fantastic architect. He was very friendly and professional. He really listened to what I wanted and added his own ideas. The service provided was extremely efficient. Jonathan supported my application to the Council with his designs - which took all the stress out of it for me. Jonathan continued to support once the designs were signed off by checking quotes received for the work to make sure they incorporated the whole design. I cannot recommend Jonathan highly enough and will continue to recommend him.”
