“Helen W. Alameda, August 2016 I am very satisfied with the work SRS did for me. I lived in another house for 30 years, I had two roofs installed and they lasted approximately 15 years each. This is the first time I used SRS at my current residence and I have a feeling this roof may last twice as long as the last ones. The previous roofers were in and out in about a couple of weeks more or less. I really didn’t know what was going on then except that the new roof looked good. I paid for a new roof and that is what I got. The SRS job took longer to finish, but it seems I got more value for what I spent with their detailing. They did extra work tearing off additional layers of roofing, they completed extensive dry rot and carpentry work at the roof perimeter that was needed and installed extra flashings to prolong the life of some adjacent beams. The thing that separates SRS from the previous roofers is that Kasra, the owner of SRS, would explain everything to me daily on his job. He worked side by side with the roofers to insure everything was done correctly. He would regularly point out areas of concern on my roof. I could take care of it now, do it myself, hire them to do it or just catch it later. He also stated the pros and cons of delaying the work. My feeling is this is my house and I want to know how and when to take care of it. The best suggestion he made was to install a skylight in the garage and a sun tunnel in the darkest area of the house. In hindsight, I should have gotten these two items done years ago and now I cannot live without having free solar lighting. If you want a roofer who can explain everything to you when necessary then Sustainable Roofing Solutions is who you want for your next roofing job.”

“these guys are such professionals! I am so impressed with the work they accomplished last week - in just 2 days they finished the roof on my 2-story house (2200 sq ft) - just before the rains began (and just before we went into total lock-down due to COVID-19). it looked like a ballet on the top of my house - the crew moved deftly, swiftly and consistently. I am grateful for their diligence, competence and hard work. brian, the owner, has certainly hired a tremendous crew! as an aside, I also hired another co to install solar panels, once the roof was completed. knowing this, brian then proactively sent his guys back out to my home afterwards to do some light repair work caused by the solar installation. so kind of them. regarding cost - I got estimates from 7 different companies (I'm a touch OCD...). they were not the cheapest, but were the 2nd least expensive firm. and besides a modest down payment ($700), they charged me nothing until the full project was completed. their other glowing reviews are absolutely true. I am so very pleased i chose them.”

“I got an estimate from Westco after reading some good reviews about them. They did a great job on the estimate, and after some detailed analysis of the roof they determined that I did not need to replace the roof. Their opinion was that I just needed some repairs in certain specific areas to prevent the water leak problem my tenants were experiencing. The cost of the repairs were reasonable, so we accepted their bid. The work was done on time, and with minimal hassle. It has been almost three years since the work has been done, and there have been no problems with water leaks from the roof since the roof repairs. I got estimates from two other roofing companies. They barely looked at the roof and gave me an estimate for a completely new roof. The cost to replace was much, much higher than the repair cost from Westco, and it would have been unnecessary.”

“Tom was originally recommended by our neighbors. He has been to our house for a couple of projects now including an incredibly pesky roof leak that four previous roofing contractors failed to repair. Tom was the first contractor to determine the source of the leak! We had a series of downpours after the repair and the house is dry as a bone!!! Tom is our go-to guy for all our roofing needs. We will be using him to replace and repair gutters in the near future!”

“I was extremely nervous about making a decision as large as buying a new roof when I knew absolutely nothing about such a purchase. Ron came out immediately to give me a quote. He showed me all his organizational affiliations, gave me his contractors licenses and a little background as to not only his experience but also that of his company. And while I'm sure I was driving Ron more than a little crazy with all my questions and concerns, he walked me through all the types of roofing and every aspect of installation. He was incredibly patient, described exactly what products were for and explained the benifits of one product over the other. Once they started the project, they worked straight through to completion and my beautiful new roof was on much more quickly than I would have anticipated. Ron's crew were friendly and helpful. Jon was particularly good at letting me know what was going on and answering my many questions. They were very careful with my plants and cleaned up daily. Not only would I recommend them to others needing a new roof, I have already done so.”
