“Alan has done various pieces of work for me over the last 30 years including kitchen refurbishment, bespoke cupboards, shelving, stable doors, chair repairs etc. The most recent was less than 2 years ago when he made a superb front door and frame in European oak. I have always found his work to be excellent.”

“I asked Tom to make me a coffee table out of an old hay loft door that I salvaged during a major renovation project on my house. I knew I could do something special with the door, but didn't know quite where to start. Tom instantly shared my vision and showed enthusiasm for the project from the start. He really helped to turn my hair brained idea into some initial designs and then into a polished finished product, which balances contemporary design with the rustic charm of my old door. Tom and the team were easy to deal with, and did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Monkeywood’s craftsmanship is of the highest quality and I would have no hesitation in recommending their work. I am delighted with the finished product.”

“Fanie has done five excellent jobs for us: a made-to-measure dresser (see picture}; two gates; conversion of solid interior doors into glass-panelled interior doors; and the extension of a well-loved 1950s dining table. He is a fine craftsman, diligent, honest and creative with solutions. He listens really carefully to what the customer wants and goes the extra mile to achieve it.”

“After emailing several different companies/individuals I had received a few half hearted quotes varying massively. Nick's response was different. He showed interest in what I wanted, made suggestions and gave an accurate drawing and quote. By far the most professional quote I had received and despite not being the cheapest he was most definitely reasonable and clearly knew what he was on about. The finished product was perfect. Exactly what I wanted, no compromises at all. I would without question recommend and use Nick again.”
