“The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”

“We hired them to redesign/build a pool, sport court and fireplace. Their attention to detail went beyond our expectation. “No one is better than Blade of Grass. Exceptional vision coupled with practical advice. Our backyard plan morphed from a simple "let's knock off the rotting deck" to a backyard redo replete with blue stone patio, field stone wall, irrigation system, tree removal and many new trees and plantings. The team worked hard under difficult conditions (no access for machinery, giant boulder to dig out), the job was done in a timely manner and the outcome surpassed my very high expectations. Tom and Pete were easy to work with, professional and fun. They listened to what we wanted and guided us on key plantings/trees. When a winter storm caused a tree to list heavily to one side, they came and replanted it - almost a year after the job. I am incredibly happy with our backyard transformation and highly recommend Blade.”

“We hired Jackie to make a very ugly back yard into a space we would love and she did. She used her expertise to tackle a project with multiple grading and structural issues. Besides having strong creative talents, she also is extremely flexible and accomodating to work with, making changes as needed and being sensitive to the clients concerns (financial and otherwise) while always keeping an eye towards the integrity of her project. She develops very detailed plans , picks contractors that she respects and follows the project through to completion remaining dedicated to the needs of her clients even in areas that should/might be the contractors. We are thrilled with our new living space and highly recommend Jacalyn Gould as a Landscape Architect.”

Gail Alden, with wonderful knowledge and extreme patience, listened closely to our thoughts, fears and desires. She developed a plan that has turned out beautifully. “Nilton and the crew were great. I had switched over a new guy this summer to help to start his business. Nilton was a pure pro when I told. As time went on the new service struggled finding workers and services I needed in May couldn't be done until August. Curbs to the rescue. I sent Nilton a text on Saturday , he respond with a visit on Monday and a quote on Tuesday. Started work the following Monday and by the end of the week --- I had trimmings removed (a lot) , areas cleared and prep for bed mulching and edging to spread 20 cubic feet of mulch - that's correct 2 truckloads. Couldn't be happier.”

“We hired Dan and Corey last summer to design plans for landscaping a difficult hillside and our front yard. They selected and installed the plantings and sod and installed cobblestone edging and a paver walkway. We decided to have them do the work in three phases to match our budget. They have completed the installation for two of the three phases, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Their work is top-notch. They have an eye for design and they use top-rated materials. In fact, they turned an eyesore of a rocky, weed-filled hillside into an asset. They know what they're doing, and they do things the right way. They are a small company (just the two guys) so they do the work themselves - which is how we like to do things. We plan to have them do the final phase this summer.”

“McKechnie Associates designed and built a portico on the front of my house to give it more character. The end result was beautiful. I am extremely happy with the work. Paul and his crew were very professional at all times. They answered all the questions I had about the process. The crew who did the job worked extremely hard. It is very easy to see they take pride in the work they do and do not take shortcuts. I have received many compliments from neighbors on how nice the portico looks. I highly recommend McKechnie associates and plan on using them again to put in a new walkway in the near future.”
