Understandably we were both a little nervous about the change, so our choice of interior designer was very important to us. We have always sought recommendations and fortunately Middlethorpe Interiors were suggested. After meeting Ann the nervousness was replaced by excitement of what she was creating for us. Don't get me wrong there were times along the way when we felt our "design comfort zone" was being challenged, but we are so glad we trusted in her creativity. It speaks volumes that we have over the last few weeks spent time just sat in the various rooms admiring the finished effect, which is also testament to the high quality of the tradesmen she works with. “Ann Marie helped us renovate our master bathroom. She not only has excellent taste and a great eye for design, she is extremely knowledgeable about the less glamorous but very necessary side of remodelling – need for permissions, placement of water pipes and drains etc. She also has an amazing ability to see possibilities and options no one else has thought of, which can completely change a project for the better. I am based in the US but she was able to advise me based on videos, photos and dimensions of the room in question and made sure to recommend US suppliers.”

“Over lockdown I found myself growing very tired of the decor and furniture in my lounge. Myself and my three girls spend a lot of time in there particularly on an evening. With it being a Victorian terrace it already had beautiful original features in there but was looking very tired and lifeless. She made me realise I didn’t need a huge amount to completely transform the space into the cosy room I longed for.
