D4S have provided us with structural verification services on a number of occasions which have helped us to secure some high level work as part of our design process. D4S quality of work is always of the highest standard and they can react quickly to our design needs which is one of the most important factors of the service they provide. I will be happy to continue using D4S structural design services for any future project which we are involved in.

We spoke with D4S in connection with a residential extension that we had undertaken in the Summer of 2018. We initially went with D4S as they were recommended by a close friend, but we had never employed a structural engineering firm up until this stage - so it was rather daunting. From the first time we met with Jon, until the project was completed, he made the entire process so easy for us, timelines were always met, and we received a very professional service, At times they do use terminology and language that is alien to us, but we always felt comfortable asking Jon and his team to explain this in a language we would understand. After the production of the drawings and calculations, we assumed that their role had been completed. However, this was far from what happened. They not only liaised with the architect, but also when we had any "technical issues" on site, they were at hand to answer any queries that we had with the builder. I'm afraid that this seemed to be a regular occurance at times, but Jon was always at hand to answer these queries. Overall we were highly impressed with the quality of the work produced, but also the service offered by Jon and his team. I would highly recommend them for anyone considering using a strucutral engineering firm that goes above and beyond.
