Nick gave us excellent advice at the design stage and delivered the job to the agreed dates. He was helpful and cooperative during the installation and the finished job is top class due to his skill and attention to detail. He left the area clean after each workday. The end result has considerably modernised our hall and stairs and undoubtedly enhanced the value of our house. I would have no hesitation in recommending him for a staircase refurbishment.

From the time of our first contact to work completed, Nick was professional, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to arrive at our house at times to suit us. I was very happy to leave him alone when I went to work and always arrived home to a clean tidy house. His workmanship is superb, no detail is too much. If I needed to have anything clarified, he always responded quickly to an e-mail or text. I would also like to mention Imogen, his wife, who was extremely efficient and friendly in all correspondence. Made and fixed an oak handrail up the staircase and round the top corner. We are very pleased with this as it matches the opposite banister perfectly. It was installed quickly and everything left clean and tidy.

Hambledon Staircases provided us with an under stairs storage solution that was suitable, flexible, attractive and affordable. Nick and Imogen were professional, patient, attentive and, above all, supportive to our needs and requirements. Imogen was the initial contact and talked us through our options and gave us ideas and solutions. She followed the visit up with a full quote and, once accepted, the installation was carried out on time and on budget. Nick was on site for two days and was able to make tweaks and small changes to the design with good grace! He took great pride in his work and is obviously a craftsman more used to working on larger projects than ours, but made us feel that our storage was just as important to him.
