We have had a great experience with James Steel. It was a small job that some larger companies weren't interested in doing but from the initial request, our job was handled very quickly and professionally. The men who came to carry out the work were tidy, courteous and easy to be around. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Had to leave a review which I hardly ever do, to say how happy I am with the service and quality of James Steel. Rob has been very professional with great communication. As a builder I've used lots of staircase manufacturers but none have been as good and easy to work with as this lot.

A wonderful job, lovely fitters. The detailed planning and preparation were excellent as was communication throughout the project. We decided upon some style recommendations from the supplier and we're really glad we did. The result was that we achieved exactly what we wanted, on time and within budget. The oak staircase looks beautiful. We would recommend James Steel

We used James Steel to design and install a new, more contemporary staircase. We went for solid cherry wood, with glass panels. The result is stunning. A truly professional company.

I'd highly recommend James Steel. They were helpful and patient with getting the best design within our confined space. The end result is a stunning modern individual staircasewhich we are delighted with. We were really glad we used a local company and would definitely use them again.

Very pleased we used this company for 2 flights of stairs for our self build project. Great too work with from start to finish. We love the finished product , which includes stair treads and handrails stained to perfectly match our chevron , smoked ,white oiled parquet flooring . Highly recommend.
