Northwood, OH Stone, Paving and Concrete Professionals
We use only the highest grade, best quality polymer floor surface products which are formulated specifically for the Great Lakes region climate changes, typified by harsh temperature fluctuations, high humidity and moist conditions that affect particularly concrete floor surfaces. We value and adhere to providing superior customer service and take the utmost pride in our work. From the moment you meet us to the final floor surface coating applied to your floor, we guarantee your complete satisfaction. Your project becomes very personal to us and we pay close attention to each and every detail of your floor surface…start to finish. We stake our reputation on your satisfaction. Our availability, educating you on our floor surface products and processes and our warranty guarantees are testimony to our commitment to you, our valued and irreplaceable customer. The typical products used in the floor surface industry have the tendency to fail over time, characterized by brittleness, fading, yellowing and de-lamination (peeling). Chemists are available to us at the corporate level to address changing needs in our products and installations that we determine are necessary to remain the premier epoxy floor covering company in the Great lakes region.

Tri-County Block & Brick, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that has had it's home in Swanton, Ohio since 1953. The owners, Forrest and Roberta Cooley, located their business originally on Airport Highway (at the time known as the Chicago Pike) 1/4 mile east of Main Street on the south side of the highway. At the time we had a capacity of 2,000 block a day and the help of two employees, In 1957, after the company had established itself. We were able to purchase a new location on Airport Highway west of Swanton. Expanding even more several years later, Mom and Dad acquired a total of thirteen acres of land; the present home of the block plant, storage facilities and the offices. Installation of a block machine that manufactured three blocks at a time increased our production to 5,000 units a day. In 1969, My parents purchased a ready mix facility from Swanton lumber and operated it at the Airport Highway location. This successful endeavor was later sold to Dielman Supply with the desire to retain the original mission of Tri-County; that of high quality block and expert, personal service. Due to an expanding market, we decided in 1994 to enlarge our block plant, by increasing the kiln capacity and installing state of the art production machinery. Further expansion in 1996 included an entirely new facility on sight that boosted production to 23,000 units a day. Our focus today is the same as when my parents founded the company - that is high quality concrete masonry units and expert personal service. We also represent fifteen brick manufacturers and have one of the largest brick inventories in northwest Ohio. Today, my Company remains a family operation. Involved in the business with myself and my wife Karen, are our sons Donavan, Hans, and Timothy, and our daughter Jennifer. We currently have 29 employees and it is the desire of the Cooley family and employees to continue providing quality service to the masonry industry.
