Their workmen are of the highest calibre, and every detail is taken care of. Richard seemed to have an intuitive grasp of what I would like, and how I would want things to be, and that was very reassuring when you know you will be away for the entire project. hobsons|choice are a pleasure to deal with – two friends of mine are already using them thanks to my eulogies.””

Other high-end companies we approached quoted a higher price for something that was not bespoke and was therefore much clunkier in design. “We are just about to complete a renovation project on our old cottage and took the step of employing Caroline Dunn Design. It was our first foray into using a professional designer and the whole experience has been a very positive one. Caroline provided designs for our kitchen, ensuite bathroom and shower room. During a home visit she went to a great deal of trouble to ascertain our lifestyle, priorities and budget. She then produced at least 3 designs for each of the rooms, followed by detailed plans and images as well as product suggestions. Using Caroline's design we purchased our kitchen from DIY Kitchens (whom we also highly recommend), and the fitter commented on the extreme usefulness of the virtual images that Caroline produced. The positives of employing Caroline Dunn Design were numerous but high on the list was that it gave us freedom to consider our options without any rush or pressure, and the ability to source products from the internet and local suppliers most cost effectively. We are convinced that without Caroline's unerring professionalism and design skills during all stages of the project the transformation of our home would not have been achieved.”

The reason we chose Mark and his partner Jean was that from the outset they demonstrated great patience through the process of the design, walking us through a range of options but also listening to what were our particular needs for the finished kitchen as well as the attention to detail which came through during the building work and the fitting out to a quality finished spec.
