“I hired Jo to advise me on how to, first clear my over grown mess of a garden and second for some ideas on how to modernise it, what plants to keep but more importantly what to do with a sunken garden, old stone wall and path we really don’t like Jo also took into account how this would all work with the future double rear extension. “Kristina created a beautiful garden from the more or less bare field that came with our house. It was a really awkward L-shape with an unsightly view of the nextdoor outbuilding and Kristina managed to create a garden of three compartments which made sense of the space, with a pleached hornbeam hedge to screen the view. Kristina listened to all our requirments and delivered a stunning colourful flower garden with a pergola of our choice as a centrepiece, which gives us joy all the year round. She helped us monitor the progress of the hard landscaping contractors, prepared the beds and planted up the garden to the highest standard all within a short timescale. We have shown our garden for the last two years for the National Gardens Scheme and always receive wonderful comments about it. Kristina continues to oversee our garden and its ongoing development.”

“Just over a year ago we moved into this lovely old house 400 metres from the sea with 2 completely shingle spaces as front and back gardens! Fine for tenants, low maintenance but barren. Thank goodness we found Janette of Cornus Garden Design - she turned our blank canvas into 2 tranquil and beautiful spaces making use of the existing shingle. We had no side access but Janette solved this problem by putting us in touch with a company that laid walkways in Marinas and Industrial Plants. Once our retaining wall was strengthened the surface was covered with the non-slip grill which is perfect and sits well with this house. Her whole design and planting scheme is sympathetic to the surroundings and our suggestions and we couldn't be more thrilled with the result. The use of low planting in the beds with taller planting at the edges and the beautiful water feature and lighting add interest and depth to the design. The hard landscaping was inspired. We would highly recommend Janette and her and innovative ideas - a big THANK YOU . . . .”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. We are very happy in our lovely little courtyard garden and would highly recommend David. Rose and Peter”

“Vicky took control of the design and planting of our garden in TN3 a number of years ago. The planting had instant impact and has matured beautifully. We are thrilled with the result and the attention to detail Vicky had throughout the process. She met the brief of a low maintenance scheme and excelled in her ability to interpret the aims of the project. She has kept in touch on how the garden has done through the seasons which has been really appreciated. We’d thoroughly recommend Vicky to others. It was a total pleasure working with her and we have a wonderful garden to show for it.”

“Ben did a great job of redesigning our very mature and overgrown garden. The result is a far more practical family friendly garden which is easy to maintain and looks fantastic through the year. As one plant fades, another flowers giving constant colour which I would never have been able to achieve without Ben. As I maintain the garden myself, his plant maintenance guide has proved invaluable - I can easily identify the plants in the garden and know what to do and when to keep the garden looking great. The contractors Ben organised for us to complete the work were fantastic too. A job well done!”
