“My husband and I interviewed multiple outdoor design companies. While we were impressed with some of their designs, we were never WOW'D until we met Ryan Huges and discussed his vision for our outdoor living space. We were further impressed with his formal presentation and detailed blueprints showing every aspect of the design plan for the multiple tiers of our backyard, which included an 18" raised fire pit on a 6" raised patio area with flag stone pavers, multiple raised seat walls, an outdoor kitchen with trellis, and flag stone steps leading to a 14'x14' raised wooden deck with an 18"x18" seat bench surrounding a large fire table. Over the course of a few short weeks we watched our backyard design come to life. The end result is more beautiful than we could have imagined. We celebrated our project completion with a neighborhood progressive dinner. Since then, three neighbors have contracted Ryan Huges Design Build to design and build their outdoor living spaces and others are still signing up!”

“My name is Todd Erickson, founder and designer at Campus Landscape. I have had the privilege of working with Dave and the team at Wahoo Pools on several projects over the past year. One of the things that I admire the most about this company is that they are quickly developing a reputation across central Florida for constructing pool + outdoor living packages that are years ahead of most local pool businesses. Dave has a very rich history in designing and developing pools throughout various areas of the states. His exposure and influences from outside of our local market are quickly raising the bar for the local pool contractor industry. Sure, they can construct a rectangle or a kidney bean, like so many of the common low-end budget driven pools built in the greater Tampa area.... but make no mistake...these guys specialize in creating watershapes and outdoor living spaces that take advantage of the property in ways most locals have never seen before. Sunken living rooms with fire features, infinity edges, negative edge spas, tanning ledges, smart systems and so much more. When Dave and I first met.... I knew this would be the company that I would personally hire to remodel my own pool... or build me a new one when that day comes. “After many years of contemplation and careful consideration we finally decided to build a pool. There are what seem to be hundreds of pool builders in our area given the tropical climate so narrowing it down to one contractor took some time. We did not want to mistakenly pick a "fly by night" company. After reviewing blogs, reviews and many, many photos we decided on Tampa Bay Pools to build our custom pool. My husband will tell you that I am a contractor's worst nightmare! Like anyone, I expect the job to be completed correctly the first time and if not on time, then before the deadline. Admittedly, I tend to be quite pesky... To my relief, Tampa Bay Pools delivered a quality product that well exceeded my high expectations. Our pool is unlike any pool that I have seen so it is most definitely a custom job. They provided guidance with my materials selections, patiently addressing all my questions and concerns. Our construction superintendent as well as the owner himself were either on-site or calling me with updates (at times, daily) throughout the entire construction process. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a dedicated pool builder that will not sacrifice quality under any circumstance. They only work with top quality skilled sub-contractors and craftsmen that remained professional at all times. If there was a glitch they fixed it. No questions asked.
