“As an artist myself, I’m very particular with my aesthetic style, but I’m also very bad at explaining myself. This was not an issue for Beth. I had a very specific idea of Victoria/ industrial/ minimalist and most importantly on a budget! She took my vision and surpassed anything I could have hoped for! Firstly the artwork she picked was perfect for my taste. Secondly, any random idea I had she sourced and mocked up for me, nothing was too much for her. She was an absolute joy to work with and I am in love with the rooms she has made for me, I will definitely be using her services in the future!”

“Lindsey has an incredible eye for design. She offered us a bright and exciting palette perfectly pair with the wonderful designs she drew for our new bedrooms and playroom. Armed with endless ideas and solutions she worked with a true empathy for what our own likes and dislikes were. Always offering new ideas and solutions that not only looked nice but were practical within the limitations of our own spaces and budgets. Really enjoyed the whole experience and their outstanding results. We look look forward to working with them again early next year to help re-design our bedrooms. My only hesitation in recommending this company is on the basis they might then be too busy to help us again in the future!”

“We were very pleased with our Kitchen from Lacuna - it was exactly what we wanted and they made it very easy with two young kids and a puppy in the mix. The units were all built off-site which meant less time installing. Very pleased with our modern handless grey doors! Nice to support a local business rather than one of the bigger chains too, and I feel like we got a more bespoke service (and, for the record, we had a small budget which they were able to work with!).”

“I used Phoebe for colour choices throughout my house, bathroom specifications, choice of lounge furnishings, the design of the master bedroom (including designing two closets and some lovely curtains) and most important, the complete redesign of the kitchen. I am so pleased with the results -- we worked collaboratively so that the rooms are decorated to my taste, while she provided expertise on how to express that taste and ensure that the results were practical. I highly recommend Smartstyle. ps In the cost estimate I have been asked to give, I include the costs of all the work, not just Phoebe's fees, which were very reasonable.”

“Working with Sally during the renovation of my Grade II listed thatched cottage has been a fantastic experience. Sally was sympathetic with the challenges associated with a 450 year old property and guided me through every idea and decision to ensure the final result was truly distinctive in style whilst in keeping with the property and suiting my taste. Sally completely understood my requirements, however, her creativity and design style meant she introduced me to concepts much more beautiful than I could ever imagine. I was very anxious about taking on the project so finding Sally to manage it was ideal. Her consultative approach throughout the whole process made it as seamless and easy for me as it possibly could be. I love the final result and can’t recommend Sally Dernie Interiors highly enough – thank you so much Sally!”

“Zoe designed my kitchen in a very awkward space. The result is tremendous! She was incredibly calm, logical and creative under pressure. She was extremely hard working and so nice to be around. She went the extra mile in helping with the accessories and the scheme in the other rooms. She has a natural flair - contemporary whilst also being mindful of the age of the property. I cannot recommend her enough.”

“Can’t recommend Louise at REcreate highly enough for her help and insight with spatial design for our bathroom project earlier this year. We had two pokey rooms and needed help to work out how to combine effectively & to get the best out of them. Louise presented several layouts / options, all of which were great, it was hard to choose! We chose one, knocked the two rooms into one & expanded into available spare space. Louise also advised on possible flooring & tiling options, as wells as coordinating paint options. We now have a fabulous bathroom that we love & suits us so much more than the two outdated rooms we inherited in our newly bought home. Thank you Louise for your expertise, knowledge & creative flair. Until the kitchen...”
