“We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“Very impressed by this firm. It's true to say that they took us 'on a journey', converting our small garden which had become a bit of a 'rewilding project' to something beautiful and usable. Scott visited us, and we decided to go for his design service, and he came up with three plans. Once the garden was cleared of four Leylandii and an apple tree, he came up with a fourth which we ultimately went with. Once the work started, we soon saw that James, the foreman on site, was a real perfectionist, and ably assisted by Jim and Mikey, it was a delight to see a mess transformed into something we're looking forward to using. After completion, we had a couple of minor snagging issues, and all resolved speedily and to our complete satisfaction. Apart from anything else, they're all nice people, and we're missing them already. No hesitation in recommending this firm.”

“After 20+ years of living in the same house which had undergone numerous changes over the years, the garden was due a ‘makeover’ it had served us well as a family garden but our needs had changed (along with the ability to manage it) therefore time to look for an ‘expert’… Anthony Arnold of Emerging Landscapes stood out from others with the time he took to listen and understand our needs, wishes and not least, budget constraints. His approach is collaborative, very important as we wished to retain a few existing features which he needed to incorporate in the design. He explained and involved us in the design process along the way, from detailed site survey (we have a terraced garden, so not an easy task) concept drawing to final plan. He is innovative and creative and his desire to create a beautiful space that answers our needs and we can enjoy for many more years with minimum maintenance was very apparent. Our enthusiasm for the garden has been re-ignited.”

“Abel Landscaping and Darren have made a First Class job of my Driveway, Patio and Artificial Grass to a very high standard. This was all done while I was away on holiday, I was kept informed of all progress on a daily basis with pictures sent to my Mobile phone. That's what I call going the extra mile. I had some additional work done and was kept fully informed of any additional costs as when this happened. Thomas who installed my Driveway, Patio and Grass is one of the best Ground workers I have come across, with so much knowledge and great recommendations.”

“Ben did a great job of redesigning our very mature and overgrown garden. The result is a far more practical family friendly garden which is easy to maintain and looks fantastic through the year. As one plant fades, another flowers giving constant colour which I would never have been able to achieve without Ben. As I maintain the garden myself, his plant maintenance guide has proved invaluable - I can easily identify the plants in the garden and know what to do and when to keep the garden looking great. The contractors Ben organised for us to complete the work were fantastic too. A job well done!”

“We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. We are very happy in our lovely little courtyard garden and would highly recommend David. Rose and Peter”

““ James really managed to see our vision when we weren’t even sure what it was ourselves. He took his time to listen to our thoughts, spent plenty of time going through all our likes and dislikes to really understand us, and managed to put together a garden which was beyond anything we could’ve imagined for ourselves. The kind of thing you admire at other peoples houses and never expect to have at your own… We found James incredibly relaxed and easy to work with - a genuinely lovely guy to have around. We couldn’t be happier with the final outcome and our only regret is not having done it sooner “”

“We have worked closely with Barry on several projects and his work ethic and attention to detail really shine through. Barry is very organised which made everything straightforward and ultimately meant that the end clients received an excellent level of service. I know that one of the projects in particular had very tight time constraints due to a large event taking place at the property and that Barry and his team pulled out all the stops to meet the deadline given.
