“Somehow we ended up looking at 5 fabricators. Granite is not an easy project. In the end we went with Stonecrafters- a very experienced operation. The setting make you wonder: as it is not so fancy as some locations But the service was excellect and the promises were kept. Very pleased-would highly recommend.”

“I hired CCW for a two faucet sink in our master bathroom. We loved their concrete look and their claims of stain resistance. We've put that to the test recently with toothpaste (among other things). They're right, stain free! I love my sink from CCW and everything arrived on time and as expected.”

“Classic Tile of the North Shore is fantastic! Everything is top notch. Their salespeople are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, which made the 2 bathroom remodel process painless. The store is clean, well-organized and easy to access. They have a huge selection of stone, marble, ceramic and porcelain tiles – almost too much too choose from, but the displays gave me some great ideas. Most importantly, the in-home workers were very professional and friendly and knew what they were doing. Everything from floor tile, to the vanity tops to the ceiling was perfect. The finished product turned out better than I had imagined! Thank you! If I ever need another bathroom or kitchen remodeled, I will definitely go with Classic Tile!”

“We(Design Insight Inc.) worked w/ Marble Emporium last Fall for a master bathroom remodel. Their selection & professionalism is unsurpassed! They not only have an enormous & beautiful showroom, but also an equally large warehouse of slabs. Marble Emporium is also unique because they sell the slabs as well as perform the fabrication/installation. “Ken Kass is the owner and a true enthusiast! He really enjoys his work and it shows. He has a great rapport with team. He lights up when discussing stone and installation options. This was our first time working with Ken. It was a ‘small’ job. We had built-ins installed around our fireplace. We wanted stone for the cabinet tops and the fireplace surround. Ken was very good about explaining the types of stone that would do a good job for this installation. This included some discussion about using a less expensive stone than what we had originally been leaning toward. The installation option he recommended is stunning. It requires meticulous cutting of the stone off-site to create a single ‘U’ shaped piece to go around the fireplace opening. This approach meant the natural patterns in the stone are uninterrupted – unlike the more typical 3 piece installation of two vertical pieces with one horizontal piece across the top. It looks absolutely beautiful! I would definitely work with Ken again!”

“I'm an interior designer and I worked with Joel Baney at Chadwick's Surfaces International in Libertyville on a large project recently. I'd been searching everywhere (throughout the U.S. and abroad) for the right limestone flooring for my client's new kitchen and foyer. Fortunately, my client and I found it locally at Chadwick's and we could not be happier. The texture, color, and style of the limestone matched our design vision perfectly. Joel was very helpful, he put together a large sample board of the limestone tiles in the exact pattern we wanted it in so that we could get a better idea of what the product would actually look like once it's installed. That made all the difference as we needed to see the tile represented in a larger format to make a final decision on the tile. Joel listened attentively to what we were trying to accomplish and helped us achieve our design goals. I highly recommend Chadwick's, they have a wide variety of natural stone and porcelain products and they exceeded my expectations.”

Each step was so simple and streamlined that I would highly recommend them to anyone. They worked WITH us on making things perfect for our home and with all the work we've done in our remodel it was hard to find contractors that take such pride in their work. They thought of (and made extra efforts for) details I never would have thought of. Our countertops are gorgeous, and their skills made our investment an even better one that we anticipated.
