Gee proved them wrong, and delivered the prefect design hassle free and on budget. “Ben and Joe constructed a large raised timber deck for me, linking my conservatory to my garden, which was sloped and had a number of levels. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, highly professional whilst very personable. The job was completed to an extremely high standard, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them and their work to anyone in the future.”

“We are completely delighted with our evening patio area. Having enjoyed it for just a year now the shrubs in the raised beds have filled out the space and have started to provide some welcome colour for their second season. The barbecue and wooden furniture are recently uncovered ready for the first party of the year this weekend. Looking back at photographs of the work being done at the beginning of 2018 it is hard to remember not having this space in our garden. The design enhanced our own ideas and workmanship both on and around the site was extremely high quality and professional. We can totally recommend Urban Gardener. Its been a great experience all the way through.”

“We are absolutely delighted with the way Anthos Garden Design has helped us transform our outside space. Jane was very accommodating from the outset, visiting our home and finding out from ourselves what our specifications were for the space. From this initial visit, Jane was able to come up with a design that completely matched our hopes as well as our budget. She also helped us in terms of finding contractors to carry out the work (optional) and was available for consultation and advice throughout the process. She carried out visits whilst the work was taking place, which gave us great peace of mind. Her knowledge of planting was impressive and I must say as each year passes, and as the plants become more established we continue to be grateful for enlisting the expertise of Anthos Garden Design. Our garden has been transformed from a barren soulless place to a lush tranquil oasis. Perfect.”

“Carol transformed our tired little urban garden into a little haven, just in time for lockdown. She listened to our ideas and presented designs that really suited our style. She was open to little tweaks to get it just right for us. We were consulted throughout, including on the plants to fill the beds, the exact type of paving slab and the colour of paint. She project managed contractors, who ran to time and did a great job. Overall would definitely recommend her services.”

“The brief for our garden was to keep the large lawn area for my children to play on and make everything else beautiful. Robert made a slight change to the shape of the bedding area, but this made a big difference to the look and feel of the garden. He used some existing plants and planted lots of new ones to create beautiful colour scheme and texture that changes with the seasons. Robert also designed some planters for the decking area. In the planters he created an exotic herb garden for me. Two years on the garden still looks wonderful. Robert was very easy to work with and also sympathetic to our needs. He is very passionate about his work which is beautiful.”

“After living with a completely green garden for the past couple of years, I asked Sophie to add some colour to it. She listened to my preferences, took into consideration my desire for something low maintenance and sourced reasonably priced plants to add to my boarders. She took the time to produce a design sketch for me and provided pictures of the plants in bloom so I knew what to expect. She then came for a day, with the help of Mary, to brighten my garden and had great knowledge of the new additions and how to care for them and advice in relation to the previous trees and bushes which needed some attention to make them as healthy as possible. Months later and my garden is looking much healthier, many of the flowers still blooming with colour and with little maintenance from myself. Sophie is always on hand when I have a question about my garden, whether that be how much I can cut back, what to look out for if a plant isn’t doing so well, what the normal seasonal changes of the plants are and she can always advise on how best to care for each plant/tree. I will definitely be asking Sophie back to add to another part of my garden and most definitely to design something for future gardens.”
