Dan and his team completely transformed an unusable piece of land into a contemporary garden that we are absolutely delighted with consisting of sawn sandstone patio and path, contemporary deck, vertical sleeper retaining wall, Corten steel water feature and lots of grass and planting. Dan was visionary in his plans and the garden has far surpassed our (probably annoyingly high!) standards. And it's not just what they did that is impressive, it's the way they did it. They were organised, tidy, meticulous when it comes to the detail and full of ideas and suggestions when they could see improvements could be made. They kept us informed yet worked independently at the same time (work didn't grind to a halt if we weren't there to make a decision - they simply got on with something else). We found Silverbirch Gardens on the internet and, not knowing anything about them, took a risk. And I'm so pleased we did - we couldn't be more pleased with our garden and Dan and his team are simply the best tradesmen we've ever come across. Can't recommend highly enough.”

“We first used Hortis Landscapes to put in a long fence along the edge of the garden. Nic achieved this with great efficiency and care for my lawn! Just as importantly it needed to be strong against SW winds coming down our valley and I am happy to say, 2 years later it is still as immaculate as when it was first erected. He then went on to create raised beds for my rose garden and reshape some of our Cotswold walling.
Last year in 2019 NIc returned to lay down two sigifiicantly sized patios. The semi circle designed stone and tile work looks brilliant and HL were very helpful both with the design and professionalism of laying tiles, drainage and other issues that I had not thought of! It's not often you can hire a company who is as reliable and can offer both design and construction within a sensible budget. This year it's on to enhancements to our drive area!”
