“I used Tom and Chris for my new extension to my bungalow. From the very first meeting with them to signing off the job I could not praise their professionalism, quality, attention to detail and general “can do attitude” high enough.
They put my mind at ease, explaining building terms and what everything meant. Whenever they said they were coming they did, they kept me totally up to date with all aspects of the work and never, ever let me down.
I live alone and it’s the first time I have ever done anything to my house on this scale and they totally put my mind at rest throughout the project which I think is very important. They kept everything on time and there were no nasty surprises with the budget (which to me is very important).
I would not hesitate to recommend C T Joinery & Developments to anyone, in fact I already do, to all of my friends and family!

“Steve and the team at Egg did a brilliant job with our very tired en-suite and master bedroom. From initial design ideas, which Steve was able to convey in such a way that we completely subscribed to the overall design, through refinements, strip-out, installation, decorating, flooring, plumbing, electrics and minor snagging, everything was done with care, thoughtfulness, and consideration for us living through the works etc.
The team he used was excellent, really good craftsmen who seemed to build everything from scratch and amended the design as installation proceeded and we wanted something slightly different as finishing touches.
All in all a really fantastic premium design and build service, with real quality and care for the customer at the front of mind. We are thrilled with the result.

He quickly drew up plans for the entire house which is 3 floors and a cellar. He listened to what we wanted to change and made fantastic suggestions. He made the enquiries we needed to check planning issues with the council. He liaised with our builders on what we wanted. He organised structural engineers to visit, and specialist damp people to look at our cellar. He is always quick to respond and didn't mind when we changed our mind countless times. “Richard Stone was recommended to us for the design of an extension to a house in a sensitive area; the original was created by an Architect on the Heritage committee of our local planning, but he had retired and we needed someone who understood how to reconcile the addition with the original. He was quick and efficient, producing CAD drawings in Adobe, paper copies and also on request in CAD, so we could merge his ideas into the existing shape. He is easy to work with and does not push his own suggestions over your own, also always came back when messages were left on his answerphone if he was in a meeting, and was totally reliable on appointments. What did help was he is ex-Building Control for the Local Authority, so designs were practical and compliant.”
