“As an overseas client looking to renovate our period property in Bath from a distance, PiD were invaluable in helping us achieve the home we have always dreamt of. Barbara acted as our eyes and ears on the ground, bringing a ready made team of skilled and reliable tradespeople to the table saving us the headache of trying to source them ourselves. The work carried out included replacing the roof, installing new wiring, upgrading the plumbing, designing and fitting a new master bathroom and kitchen, and converting the cellars into liveable space, along with complete redecoration - everything from paint colours to carpets and curtains. PiD also carried out a refurbishment of our two bedroom cottage, adjacent to the house - which again included a new bathroom and kitchen and complete redecoration. We are absolutely delighted with the end results, which is due in no small part to Barbara's ability to meet and indeed exceed the expectations of a sometimes highly demanding client!”

“Having been used to furnishing period properties, I suspected I would be in trouble when I purchased a large, square-roomed flat with no intrinsic features to guide me. Fortunately I found Lisa who, over a period of several months, has delivered a home that is both stylish and comfortable. She is very professional and needed to be extremely patient, since I knew what I didn’t want rather than what I did. After an initial meeting on site she produced mood-boards that were subsequently added to and subtracted from. Having sourced pieces that she felt would work Lisa accompanied me on two days of pre-arranged meetings with suppliers, her presence being invaluable in keeping me focused. She ordered items once decided upon and arranged for their delivery, which sometimes required time-consuming input on her part since I am absent from the UK for periods of time. Lisa has great ideas, is a delight to work with and really cares about what she does. Luckily we were put in touch with Aless and, and right from the start, she completely understood what we were looking for as well as our time and logistical constraints. We have been amazed by the depth and breadth of her design ideas. The range of colours and different textures she selected work incredibly well together to create a coherent flow through the house whilst giving each space its own unique character. “Val is a very down to earth ,confident and knowledgeable Interior decorator . We were invited to her showroom to discuss furnishing and room planning ideas for our new conservatory and were also able see fabric swatches which was helpful. She had such imagination that we now have a lovely dining area at one end and seating area the other with a natural 'walk through' towards the French doors . She advised us on purchase of 2 sofas in a fantastic faux suede that is very durable , and a contrasting large suede covered coffee table / stool ,and we bought these very competitively through her . She also provided cushions in a contemporary fabric which I could not have sourced myself.”
