They have been great partners in working to prepare a unique scheme that reflected our vision, while also bearing in mind our budget. Their practical and creative approach throughout the planning, approval, tender, specification and project management phases has been measured and considered, reflecting their extensive experience in their field of both architecture and construction. “Full set of drawings for single floor extension to rear of the house. Drawings were completed to an agreed time frame and amended at my request without delay. A full brief was carried out before drawing work started with Matt explaining what may be best for such an extension. The only amendments i needed to make was the roof covering as the zinc proposed (my choice) worked out very expensive so asked for an alternative and again was given advise without any hassle. Overall a very good service and would recommend to anybody in the future.”

“Millar Howard were our architects on our project to build what we have called 'The Gillyflower'; a rammed earth sound proofed and very beautiful, sustainable wedding and events venue. From the very early stages of this project (before we even knew what the business was going to be).. MHW worked with us on feasibility, planning, creative ideas, design and administrated the contract with our excellent builders, JR Building LTD. We couldn't be more happy with the level of service we got and they often went beyond the limits of our brief to ensure that we ended up with what is now a very popular, impressive and stunning building perfectly sitting in the landscape. “The job that my wife and I engaged Hawkes Edwards to do was something of a challenge, it was an extension/conversion of a grade 2 listed Georgian townhouse,which also happened to be in a conservation area in Stratford-on-Avon to be precise. Trevor and his team were excellent through all stages of our project, the consent and planning approval were seamless which relieved us of any potential stress. It was a pleasure to work with Trevor and his team and we can honestly say what they did totally transformed the house, merging the former Georgian glory with a 21st century home and thus creating one of Stratford's finest houses. Both my wife and I were delighted with the outcome as i'm sure Trevor was. Many Thanks David and Bridget Hunt.”

“We instructed David to obtain planning permission for a two story extension we needed due to our kids getting older and needing their own space. David came back to us with drawings quickly which we approved and were submitted to the council. They initially came back with objections which we weren't happy with and David built a case to object to them. They quickly came back with an approval, how we wanted the build after David presented evidence as why they couldn't impose the conditions. We are very happy with What David has done for us and would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, prompt and thorough architect. Thanks David”
