“They make the best windows in Seattle. They aren't cheap, but if you have an old house and want the right windows for it, it is the place to go. We have an old Victorian and wanted to have windows that looked great from the inside and out..and that would have looked on the outside like they were always on our house, yet had all the modern features you'd want in current windows (like no drafts!). These are those windows. They look amazing. On time. On estimate. Pretty much what you need when you order windows and you need them for your remodel job.”

“The Kolbe Gallery in Seattle helped us with all the windows and doors of our extensive residential remodel. They were professional and helpful and my Architect (CAST) introduced us to each other. We were looking for a contemporary window with minimal details and their VistaLuxe collection was a good match. They look great and overall construction feels good too. The one thing I felt could be better is the hardware on these windows. As with most other brands we saw during this project, the window hardware used on products these days do not have the same solid feel I was used to with older products. So if you are going from an older house to something new, you too will likely notice this. Overall, I think Kolbe struck a reasonable balance between looks, cost, and quality. I love how the finished product looks.”

“Our experience with West Seattle Window & Door started when we asked for an estimate. At the time we knew we wanted to replace the windows for the entire house, but we weren't entirely sure about the style. Michan, the owner came by and offered opinions about design and possible options of enlarging, dropping or any other modifications that we would want without any kind of pressure to sign with them. We decided they are are our best bet from the bids that we had and paid a down-payment. She promised to deliver by a certain date, she kept us updated whenever there was anything unexpected that came up and she made sure to have to work wrapped up the the date promised. Her team of installers had all 33 windows (except 2 that were incorrectly sent from the manufacturer) installed with one enlargement included, over 2days and took care of wrapping up a week later when the other 2 were delivered. The enlarged window looks gorgeous, adding to curb appeal; caulking, flashing, trimming and last but not least cleaning up, all as promised and with great attention to detail. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to family and friends whenever they need a referral.”
