Matt and his team at Old English Window Co did a lovely job restoring and double glazing four sash windows at my property. Communication was easy, the quote and contract was clear and straightforward, and the work has been completed to a very high standard. I'm delighted with the results and would highly recommend to others.

We first brought in Matt and his team to undertake some remedial work to some sub standard work carried out by a previous window installer in our barn conversion. The work was of such a high standard that we asked Old English to carry out all joinery, including skirtings, doors, door frames and casings and window sills. The work was all bespoke, every door was different, but Old English carried out the work to the highest standard. Old English also provide bespoke paneling to bedrooms and our lounge.

This is the second time we've used OEWC to restore/replace period windows in our Victorian property. The service we have received from Matt and his team of highly skilled craftsmen has been excellent from initial survey and advice to completion of the work in a timely manner.Our new windows remain a beautiful feature of an old house but are now water tight and warm , we couldn't be more pleased. Matt offers a very personal service and took time to really understand what we were trying to achieve. Would strongly recommend OEWC to anyone with a period property.

I'm so glad that I found Old English Window Company. We were desperate to find a solution to restore our 1914 stained glass bay windows in a way that was respectful to the original craftsmanship, but gave us the sound, thermal and security benefits of double glazing. Matt is really an expert on this, and totally understood what we were after from our initial conversation. Professional, responsive, prompt, clean and really experienced, they made a very daunting project an absolute breeze from start to finish. Our fitters (Ash and Phil) were a pleasure to have around and their attention to detail was superb. We're really happy with the end result. It seems strange to make a big investment in something that essentially looks the same, but that was exactly the point! The frames are the exact replica of the originals, but it's SO much quieter and warmer. If you're struggling to find someone you trust with your period windows, I would recommend these guys without hesitation.

The Old English Window Company fitted double glazed sash windows into our Victorian terraced house in May 2019. The house had the original sashes which were, amongst other things, draughty and painted shut. Since the new windows the house is warmer, quieter, safer and looks great. From the initial contact Matt, Saran and their team were professional, friendly, respectful and thorough. All of my questions and requests were answered, and they were always on time and tidy. From start to finish, the service we received was excellent. We needed to double glaze a number of windows at our Edwardian home but wanted to retain the character. The company's representative, Spencer, along with the gentlemen who completed the work, were all excellent - personable, hard working and efficient.
