“This was my first ever time commissioning curtains in my first ever house, and I can absolutely say that Sonia Whiteman made the experience a pleasure. I knew nothing about fabrics, linings interlinings, pleats, returns... Sonia talked me through all the options. She measured not once, not twice, but three times, and held my hand through everything, including putting up poles, return hooks and hold-backs. I really can't recommend her highly enough, she is an extremely skilled and careful seamstress, and a lovely person to deal with.”

“A friend who had used Bindu’s services recommended her for our sitting room project. I needed help with choosing curtain fabric to fit our existing sofas and she listened to my requirements and saw curtains and blinds I already had in the house to gauge my style. I love colour and Bindu was great with suggesting colour schemes and fabric. Once I had decided on the fabric which she ordered, she organised new poles which I painted myself, and she also organised the fitting of the poles and took great detail in the final fitting of the curtains which were then steamed in place. I can’t recommend Bindu enough for her ideas, professionalism and general friendliness.”

“Melissa Hutcheson's blinds have made the world of difference to my bedrooms: finally, no more street light seeping in at night! I have two very different sized windows in my master bedroom, but Melissa found a way to unite them with her blinds. I get so many compliments on the choice of fabric, too. Melissa made choosing entirely painless, by not drowning me in samples, and quickly understanding my tastes (despite the house being only partially furnished and undecorated at the time of her first visit). I would warmly recommend Melissa's services.”

“Andrea offered a great service to us from start to finish, she is very knowledgeable about fabric and helped us choose the best type of headings and sizes for all the curtains in our house. The finishes of all the curtains Andrea made for us were brilliant and we have had many compliments from friends and family. She offered additional support in hanging the curtains and when we had a problem with one of the curtains due to the heaviness of the fabric, Andrea kindly resolved this for us very quickly. I would highly recommend Andrea - great service and value for money. Thank you!”

“This is a small local business where every effort was made to help find the right fabric and style for the right location. The staff were very helpful in helping my daughter to choose blinnds for the children's rooms and lounge curtains with Design Room providing good advice and lots of fabric books to choose from. Previously I have had used them for other rooms in my sons' house as well as my own. The finished products have always been excellent and completed to a high standard. I am already planning to use them for the next room we are about to redecorate.”

“Lucy is great to work with - she really goes the extra mile to make everything look perfect and has an incredibly high standard. Her curtains are the best possible quality and hang beautifully. “I had been looking for such a long time for the right material/blind for my kitchen. Ruth from Studio 9 was so patient and helpful in helping me find the right one for me. The blind itself has stripes, they are so inline and precise it's fantastic. It finishes off my kitchen so well. I would highly recommend Studio 9, not only for the professionalism but care and dedication to the job. Brilliant”
