“Vahena is a very professional, gifted and passionate interior architect. We needed to remodel an outdated 1960's house we had recently purchased to make it our home and Vahena provided great input as much in terms of spatial design and layout as in terms of kitchen or bathroom design. She provided concept boards, samples for all the materials she recommended, costing for all the furniture and fittings, from floorings to bathroom tiles, kitchen to bathroom furniture and fittings, light fixtures to window treatments. She challenged us to step out of our comfort zone on some aspects of the design and we are so happy we did: the bespoke staircase she designed for us is one of the most stunning elements of our new home. Vahena is truly easy to work with and made the project hassle and stress-free for us! I wish we had used her services with our previous property, it would have avoided us a lot of headaches and time spent working with the architect, sourcing and managing a builder - all that with both my husband and I having a very young family and 2 full-time jobs. “Sam, Lindsay and the team were fantastic. They listened to what I wanted and definitely delivered. I bought a new home in September 2019 and they redesigned it from top to bottom. They incorporated all my favourite colours and offered some fabulous style advise. They supplied, designed and installed everything from floor coverings to curtains. The most refreshing service they offered were photo realistic CGIS, so I was able to see my house prior to it being started so I could approve fabrics, furniture and products. I'd never used an Interior Designer before, but had a great time with Daniel ...and Laura who did an amazing job and were awesome to work with. I asked them to help with my layout, lighting and colour scheme with a fairly tight brief - they did a great job in presenting a variety of options and gave me plenty to think about, even laboriously sourcing a few of the items. Her interpretation of the brief in her proposal took that and delivered in ways both thrilling and unexpected. It was emotional. It was a completely five star experience. We spent several hours going through her proposal for the apartment, talking through the various mood boards she presented, discussing colour, design, pattern and light. The proposal was highly professional and took due account of the technical aspects of these issues, especially with regard to light, which is an issue in our property. The proposal also demonstrated a sympathetic level of creativity – it reflected who we are and want to be rather than who the designer is, which was a concern we had at the beginning of the process.
