Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars25 September 2022
“A fantastic team with great working ethos. Theo came up with the initial design and adjusted where needed and was very knowledgeable with current trends and themes that are representative of the current markets. He created the layout and plantage of the garden which was a complete makeover and transformation. Ethan is incredibly talented at putting the whole piece together and paid attention to the finer details which ultimately ended up creating a masterpiece for my family. A team that is professional, clean, and respectful, one that I recommend most warmly.”
Helene Garden Design

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars28 April 2018
“Knowledgeable, engaging, really tries to understand her clients. Helene has done a great job designing and implementing a large, traditional border and shrubbery, advising on garden planning, planting and how a garden might grow in the long term. This is an ongoing relationship so project length and cost are indicative. Top marks. Highly recommended.”
Melanie Hick Garden Design
Edible Garden Professionals in Writtle, Essex
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars24 September 2021
“Melanie came up with a wonderful design for our small garden. We had strong ideas and wanted it to feel like another room to our home and give it a lush, evergreen feel. Her design was spot on and we love how it turned out. It’s meant we’ve had a new space that we’ve used all summer to entertain in. She introduced us to quality landscapers who helped bring it to life. Her relationship and communication with them meant the job was done with care and attention to detail.”

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars15 March 2018
“Highly knowledgeable about all aspects of planting in the garden. Impressive practical knowledge and skills when it comes to maintenance of a garden, bearing in mind budget implications and restrictions. There is not much Bramley Apple doesn't know about garden design, demonstrating a willingness and skill to research an effective solution to problems such as poor soil, challenging landscapes or difficult areas within the garden. After five years, our garden is maturing into a wonderful space which is used daily and has given us such lasting pleasure. We couldn't have wished for a better design!”
Aralia: Innovation in Landscape Design
Edible Garden Professionals in Writtle, Essex
Average rating: 4 out of 5 stars23 April 2015
“Aralia designed and built our small garden, transforming the ragged mish-mash of unplanned year-on-year additions into a more modern space with two water features and plenty of room to sit at various points to admire the planting and the design. Height is achieved through pleached hornbeams, black bamboo (which grows up rather than out) and a crab apple. The illusion of greater space in what is a small garden is provided by the rill and pond and pathways. Distinct planted areas now lead the eye to the flowers and plants. All completed with the minimum fuss and in good time.”
Lis Eriksson Design
Edible Garden Professionals in Writtle, Essex
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars9 February 2023
“We reached out to Lis Eriksson to completely redesign and re-landscape our 3.6 acre garden in West Sussex. Looking for somebody that could translate our vision for the grounds and the unique property that it houses. The existing garden felt very alien to the house in an English cottage garden style whilst our house is a mid century modern remodel. We gave her a large complex brief including building a terrace (300sqm in the end) including a space for dining and cooking, a sundeck, large seating area with a fire pit, a wood fired hot tub, herb garden and additional gardens connecting the adjoining annex space of the house. Alongside 2 x 100sqm plus borders, planting 60 specimen trees an extended meadow and a nuttery. Not only did Lis produce beautiful visuals alongside her master and planting plans, but also helped us source materials, furniture etc. during covid. Managing numerous supply issues, still able to get each phase of the project completed with her flexible approach, attention to detail and in-depth design and architecture know how. All whilst providing a professional service and clear communication throughout. We are just about to embark on adding a pool to the garden which we now very much enjoy and look forward to working with Lis again.”

Sarah Kay Garden Design
Edible Garden Professionals in Writtle, Essex
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars19 September 2016
“We asked Sarah to create a garden that had a large dining space so we could entertain and also pretty easy to maintain. Sarah created a beautiful garden with silver birch trees, wild flowers and a large decking area. Sarah was brilliant to work with and really listened to what we liked and didn't like, she also drew up beautiful visual plans of what our garden would look like before we started. We now have a beautiful garden that 12 months later has really grown and flourished.”
