Kitchen with Horizontal Solid Oak Fronts

This kitchen is made from consecutive planks of an Oak tree, which we cut up and then reassembled in sequence to create the kitchen fronts. This enabled us to have deep scoops into the solid wood for the handles, and also to show the end grain on the edges of doors and panels so the construction is evident.
At one end of the kitchen are tall cupboards and also sliding doors connecting the kitchen to the garden room, These doors are constructed with continuous horizontal Oak veneer and inset handles.
For the fridge and oven housing we used simple Formica faced doors with Oak edges.
The glass splash backs are drilled to mount our client's preferred kitchen rail system
