Set up Account Mapping

Making sure that the account mapping from Houzz Pro to your QuickBooks Online account is one of the most important first steps in setting up the integration.

After you sync with QuickBooks Online, map your accounts in Houzz Pro to QuickBooks Online in the Settings tab of the QuickBooks Online integration page. Simply select the accounts in Houzz Pro from the drop-down and map them to the the correct accounts in QuickBooks Online.

If you are subscribed to the Build Package, please refer below to see how the Account Mapping screen will appear on your Settings page.

If you are subscribed to the Designer Package, please refer below to see how the Account Mapping screen will appear on your Settings page.

Set up Custom Product and Service Mapping

Please note that the custom product and service mapping feature is available for Designers only.

On the Quickbooks integration page, you'll see tabs for Product Mapping and Services Mapping. Here you can either keep your products and services mapped to the default accounts, or you can use Custom Mapping which will override the default mapping.

Custom Mapping allows you to map products and services based on their category to distinct income and expense accounts in QuickBooks Online.

Set up Custom Shipping Mapping

Please note that the custom shipping mapping feature is available for Designers only.

Your shipping cost column can be mapped to a specific income or expense account in Quickbooks Online for better financials and tax reporting.
