Our client was an avid reader and memorabilia collector. It was important for there to be an area to showcase all of these items for all to see. Having access to cozy corners to read and relax in was also important

This room is an L shaped room which means walking through one half to get to the other. Splitting the room into different areas has meant that each area gets used at different times of the day.

The lounge in a beautifully renovated barn was in diamond need of some TLC. It was dark and ill used. Once the beams were lightened and a vellum was fitted the room started taking shape. This L-shaped room needed to be re configured. Creating a library area with bespoke shelving and a seating area opposite has given this part of the room a new lease of life. Making use of all of the nooks and crannies has meant that the room has a few choices of area to sit. The deep return to the right of the fireplace was crying out for an accent chair, shelving and floor lamp.

Introducing roman blinds in place of curtains has enabled more natural light to flood the area. Modern seating creates an area for the client to sit back and relax.

Main seating area with large 4 seater sofa and 2 accent chairs. Dressed with purple and teal cushions to introduce a pop of colour into the space.
