Putting cabinetry along the back wall of our Condo project would have looked clumsy butted up against the window. Instead we made this otherwise awkward corner shine with a striking marble splash back to the ceiling. Keeping the upper cabinets white (which keeps the space open and spacious) adding a splash of colour below and hint of timber and brass means that this small kitchen is not small on style.

This stunning Coastal Inspired Kitchen is located in a Garden House at the rear of a large victorian in Newcastle County Down. The homeowners built the property for when their children return home from the Mainland Uk during the holidays, and other visiting friends and family. The stunning two story lodge has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with wood burning stove, a utility room, and dining area off this kitchen. Only the best materials and finishes were used in the kitchen including Quartz, Painted Wood, American Oak and Nickel. The custom palette has a subtle but rich coastal look, in smooth painted Cadet Blue & Porcelain. The compact kitchen still manages to house a fridge freezer, larder, pullout bins, dishwasher and other pullout storage systems. There's even a compact mobile island that will double as a drinks trolley for sunny summer barbeques. Visually the space looks larger with clever tricks such as a white induction hob, integrated cooker hood, undermount quartz sink, bench seating and even a 4in1 boiling water tap, alleviating the need for a kettle, or water filter jug. The overall space is both timeless and elegant.

In a federation-style brick home by the beach, dark wood and walls made the kitchen + dining space dark and pokey. A renovation saw walls removed, spaces opened up and a dated kitchen re-vamped. A feature curved stone effect on the island was strip-lit for ambient night-time dining, and a secret door installed for extra storage. New floors, custom cabinetry, new furniture, lighting and a feature fireplace rejuvenated with kit-kat tiles created an entirely different, more functional and more stylish space.

The neutral color scheme and subtle textures of the cabinetry, benchtops, and splashback come together to create a calming and contemporary modern coastal-style look that is sure to impress.

Our client loved entertaining but the original space was small, dark and lacked any preparation space. We total remodelled and reconfigured the room knocking out the wall between the kitchen and living room to pour in light and then enable a view from the kitchen to the living area and out to the ocean. We added new 90cm oven and cooktop and lined the new range hood with subway tiles to match the splash back. The new "iron rod" suspended timber shelves either side of the range-hood kept the look relaxed and beachy but still a little industrial which was on the clients wish list. Adding the full length glass louvre window to view the extensive tropical garden and also allows great cross flow ventilation and light.

Our client loves entertaining but the space was small, old and very dark. Ventilation was also a major problem. We added a full-length louvre window where the old aluminium window was over sink. The original "U" shaped kitchen then became a galley style creating much more floor space and seating on the island bench for 8-10 which did not exist in the original kitchen. As you can see the new bench provides lots of preparation space, the new space is light, modern and open with a easy relaxed beachie feel.
