Stunning contemporary coastal home which saw native emotive plants soften the homes masculine form and help connect it to it's laid back beachside setting. A gorgeous young chap, 7 years old and curious about the world - bursting with colour and energy. That's Alexi and he needed a bedroom makeover. The riot of colour provided by the wallpaper gives this room the kick I was looking for, the vintage style works beautifully with the rose gold bed and was the perfect way to incorporate colour without risking a room that felt "too young' down the track. A smart desk space and huge felt dot pinboards give Alexi the space to be creative and enjoy the fruits of his labour. Photography by Inward Outward

The new owner of this property wanted to restore the house to its original state as much as possible, removing such materials and elements that were inappropriate, with some having caused issues like rising damp, which was remedied by using properly suited breatheable materials. The owner undertook the project management, sourcing of materials and a lot of work herself and only needed occasional consultations with Stephanie throughout the duration of the project.

This project was to turn a dated bungalow into a modern house. The objective was to create upstairs living space with a bathroom and ensuite to master. We installed underfloor heating throughout the ground floor and bathroom. A beautiful new oak staircase was fitted with glass balustrading. To enhance space in the ensuite we installed a pocket door. We created a custom new front porch designed to be in keeping with the new look. Finally, fresh new rendering was installed to complete the house. This is a modern luxurious property which we are proud to showcase.
