Sleek, stylish and minimalist clean lines all come to mind within the walls of this light and airy Victorian conversion. The kitchen sports stainless steel shark nosed worktops, two-tone grey matt lacquer units and contrasting oak shelving. The two-tiered worktop juxtaposes a steel surface with a white quartz breakfast bar at a 90 degree angle. The teal blue leather banquette, funky carpet cushions, splashy artwork and industrial vibe pendant lights give an edgy feel to the minimalist kitchen. The larder unit features pivot and slide pocket doors. Aside from the kitchen we supplied bespoke bench seating and shoe storage to the hall, contemporary floating alcove cupboards, bespoke glass fire doors and cabinetry throughout the bedrooms. Hogarth House has been given real personality in a sophisticatedly pared-back manner.

This kitchen was designed to have white matt handle-less doors alongside an oak effect door laminate. A lime green glass splash back creates a bright, light and contemporary finish to this new build. Including a breakfast bar into the design, means the space becomes social, where all the family and friends can enjoy.

The striking glazed dresser with tongue and groove panelling along the back is the perfect place to store crockery and glassware. The contrast between the stark white crockery and the deep blue cabinetry draws the eye and creates a strong visual statement.

Sustainable Kitchens - A Traditional Country Kitchen. 17th Century Grade II listed barn conversion with oak worktops and cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball Tallow. The cabinets have traditional beading and mouldings. The 300 year old exposed brick and Belfast farmhouse sink help maintain the traditional style. The oak window frame was made bespoke.

This is an example of a large modern l-shaped open plan kitchen in Melbourne with a submerged sink, shaker cabinets, grey cabinets, engineered stone countertops, white splashback, ceramic splashback, black appliances, medium hardwood flooring, an island, brown floors and white worktops.

This house lies on a mid-century modern estate in Holland Park by celebrated architects Maxwell Fry and Jane Drew. Built in 1966, the estate features red brick terraces with integrated garages and generous communal gardens. The project included a rear extension in matching brick, internal refurbishment and new landscaping. Original internal partitions were removed to create flexible open plan living spaces. A new winding stair is finished in powder coated steel and oak. This compact stair results in significant additional useable floor area on each level. The rear extension at ground floor creates a kitchen and social space, with a large frameless window allowing new views of the side garden. White oiled oak flooring provides a clean contemporary finish, while reflecting light deep into the room. Dark blue ceramic tiles in the garden draw inspiration from the original tiles at the entrance to each house. Bold colour highlights continue in the kitchen units, new stair and the geometric tiled bathroom. At first floor, a flexible space can be separated with sliding doors to create a study, play room and a formal reception room overlooking the garden. The study is located in the original shiplap timber clad bay, that cantilevers over the main entrance. The house is finished with a selection of mid-century furniture in keeping with the era. This former garment factory in Bethnal Green had previously been used as a commercial office before being converted into a large open plan live/work unit nearly ten years ago. The challenge: how to retain an open plan arrangement whilst creating defined spaces and adding a second bedroom. By opening up the enclosed stairwell and incorporating the vertical circulation into the central atrium, we were able to add space, light and volume to the main living areas. Glazing is used throughout to bring natural light deeper into the floor plan, with obscured glass panels creating privacy for the fully refurbished bathrooms and bedrooms. The glazed atrium visually connects both floors whilst separating public and private spaces. The industrial aesthetic of the original building has been preserved with a bespoke stainless steel kitchen, open metal staircase and exposed steel columns, complemented by the new metal-framed atrium glazing, and poured concrete resin floor. A bespoke, handmade Shaker style kitchen with ‘in-frame’ mortice and tennon jointed doors hung with traditional burnished brass butt hinges. This luxurious kitchen features Oak dovetailed and polished drawer boxes on soft-close concealed runners and rigid Birch plywood carcasses. All units have been factory painted in Basalt Blue from Little Greene Paint & Paper, to complement the worktops in Silestone Quartz Blanco Zeus extreme. All cup handles and knobs are in burnished brass. The range cooker is by Mercury, whilst all other appliances are from Bosch. The brassware is from Perrin & Rowe. Harvey Ball Photography Ltd
