This Grade 2 listed apartment in central London took a complete refurbishment by MIC featuring the elegant Hebdern vanity basin, and minimal, yet stunning Nene shower.
It's ensuite shower room is a perfect use of design and colour making a unique space by combining the theme of nickel and blue tiles with black borders. The main feature in this small but perfectly created space, is the Nene Shower & the 200mm rose in nickel finish, clearly seen behind the industrial style glass and metal framed shower doors which lend an air of urban chic alongside the hand glazed period style tiles in rich blue hues from Victorian Ceramics.
The tiles, which run around the room and extend into the walk-in shower, were commissioned especially for this project by Waldo Works and add a touch of individuality to the design. The single Hebdern vanity basin creates a striking focal point with black Marquina marble that coordinates perfectly with the room’s colours and detailing.

MOBALPA Walton On ThamesAn classic-contemporary style kitchen with grege finished units in sawn grey oak alongside a corian worktop. The design enables the living/dining area to flow effortlessly into the kitchen, giving this room a homely and stylish feel, rather than standard wall and base units throughout. The shelving unit at the end of the lower run of units is our made to measure living furniture, which can be customised by the client to suit their needs. The base units are our 828mm tall units which provide 20% more storage than a regular height base unit. The colours are neutral, but warm and contrast well with the tiling. It is a simple, streamlined design, but the subtle contrasting elements draw the eye around the room and give the space interest using features that are timeless.

BenegoodsdesignIn questo restyling il tema principale è stato quello di trasformare una camera degli ANNI '70 in una camera più fresca e luminosa, maggiormente adatta a una giovane coppia. Mobili di legno color noce, con modanature e intarsi decisamente vecchio stile. Ho usato lo smalto bianco per dipingere tutti gli elementi e 3 colori diversi per differenziare le decorazioni: il giallo limone, il violetto e il turchese.
Le PARETI della camera sono state dipinte di bianco, ad eccezione di quella dietro l’armadio per la quale ho scelto il turchese.
Il risultato finale è un MIX DI ELEMENTI VECCHI E NUOVI, ma che attraverso una palette di colori studiata accuratamente, dialogano alla perfezione.

Fil Rouge StudioL'aménagement de la pièce de vie principale de cet appartement était celle qui posait le plus de difficultés à mes clients.
Son volume tout en longueur, l'étroit renfoncement et les nombreuses ouvertures laissaient peu de marge de manoeuvre pour installer un espace salon ainsi qu'un espace salle à manger tout en donnant une fonction au renfoncement créé par l'abattement d'une cloison et dont le pilier porteur marque toujours une délimitation et ferme visuellement l'espace.
Ce projet avait donc deux enjeux majeurs, il fallait à la fois lier les espaces entre eux et marquer les différents espaces.
