onçue et rénovée par un artisan menuisier et une vidéaste-photographe, Casita Magda raconte l’histoire d’une transformation patiente, pensée pour révéler la mémoire du lieu plutôt que l’effacer. Cette maison de village du début des années 1900, organisée sur trois niveaux de 20 m², a été rénovée pendant près de trois ans par ceux qui l’habitent. Chaque intervention a été pensée dans une démarche consciente et respectueuse de l’existant : les carreaux de ciment ont été conservés, les volets et leur quincaillerie d’origine et le plancher en pin massif restaurés et des matériaux naturels, comme la chaux-chanvre, ont accompagné la réhabilitation du bâti. Les nouveaux aménagements s’inscrivent dans la continuité de la maison. Les agencements révèlent les qualités originelles des espaces, les matières dialoguent entre elles. Réalisé à partir de tomettes anciennes récupérées, le receveur de douche devient ainsi une pièce singulière qui célèbre à la fois le réemploi, la matière et le geste artisanal. Baptisée Magda, la maison porte le nom qui accompagnait déjà silencieusement le chantier. Comme si, au fil des travaux, à mesure que la maison se révélait, une autre présence grandissait elle aussi entre ces murs. Aujourd’hui, Casita Magda conserve la trace de cette histoire : celle d’un lieu transformé avec patience et sensibilité, où l’architecture et la vie se sont construites ensemble.
